Another woman broke his ami’s home ( his past ) + she’s a tawaif so naturally she’s a low character like that home wrecker. See his reasoning..
🤨 Every human being has a right to their dignity be it even sex workers ! Aman has zero remorse for his actions cause according to him ‘ He did no wrong ! ’

He needs to marry her to save his ami’s life. He’s hesitant to force the girl. But the minute he finds about the husband’s first wife it’s completely permissible for him to not only kidnap her but to buy her services. After all he’s doing a great samaj seva by saving that first wife’s marriage. His morality gave him that permission...

Whatever your issues may be with her (which we are trying to understand since your mother was on death bed) - whatever your past may be (which again we are trying understand and we empathize with you) - but how does that give you a right to do what he has done with Roshni? The behavior + the words + the way of getting her to marry him! I am not much active here since then because I don't connect to him. Sorry, I know a lot do but I can't and I can't help it.
I lost the connect bit by bit and I am at a point where I don't feel anything for him and his pain and I feel, it's awful for I really wanted to like him. Besides, lately, I also had some issues with the direction team regarding Aman's scenes. I had trouble comprehending him. His reactions.
It upsets me that I am not drawn towards his character anymore and I am afraid - not even the show because I have been missing episodes when I don't do if I am in - for a show. I had actually thought that I would sit back, lock by brain and watch only for the entertainment purpose but it's not happening. Sigh.

It’s not your job to make the effort to connect to his character it’s theirs ( writers) . It’s high time they stopped insulting us the audiences intelligence. Give us a hero heroine that’s in keeping with the current times. Not with the sexist ideas of a bygone age like 1960’s per se. You’re perfectly within your right to reject content that’s makes you uncomfortable. Why compromise i say.
Regarding Jinn i too took a break after Aman’s money throwing incident. I’ll start watching once they wind up the Tawaif drama. Shame really. It would been better if they introduced multiple tracks & other genres apart from Romance. That way if u wanted to watch something else you could skip out the romance bit entirely.
99 % of itv romance dramas the male leads always turn to be misogynists & the female leads disappointing. I was expecting the same with Aman. That’s why i’m a bit cautious when it comes to investing myself in their love stories. It’s only if the leads come up to my standards then i can connect with them.
Anyway this track will die down around a month’s time. Things will take a better turn. Good news is 2 weeks of that month has already passed.
