Movies vs Real life : Does smoking look cool?

Do you think smoking looks cool in movies? If yes then does it also look cool in real life?

Many people copy movie characters who smoke. I think it looks cool in movies because its always a rebellious character smoking in movies, and rebels always look cool, whether its movies or real life.

No 🤢. Everything around a smoker smells and I ended up coughing hard because of passive smoking by others around me in past.

real life, I hate smokers. Khud marna hai toh mar na.. dusro ki kaiko waat lagata hai.

I love it 😔..it has some sort of appeal in movies like when they it's shot beautifully or gives a peek into their mood, or when they do it stylishly, be it a man or a woman smoking.. I always like watching actors smoke on screen, everyone has a different way lol... and in real life, depends on the smoker (the way they puff in and out) and the distance between them and me. I don't like the smell of cigarettes.. but I love watching the whole process from taking it out of the pack, lighting it, the way smoke is puffed out.. I like watching many mundane things like this, like when characters shave, change clothes, eat, drink, just do simple everyday things etc..

And you're right about rebels.. I always find characters or people with a slight rebel streak in them to be very appealing..

No nothing about smoking appeals to me....neither reel nor real.... I'd rather run away from people in real life who smokes
