Chapter 51

Daadima and the Singhia brothers are playing a very

dangerous game .

both Geet and Maan are restless but both have such ego

what is wrong with Maan that he still cannot accept his feelings and love

for his wife and Geet she does not have to let go of her self respect

been with her husband does not mean her self respect is damaged

hell these two are playing can they not see that their children will be effected

marriage is no game both of them has to make their minds and hearts up

either they want and respect each other and want their marriage or if they

unsure than it surely means their is no love between them

I cannot believe Maan when Geet left and he thought that she died

he regretted at time I had thought maybe he realized what love is

but he wants Geet back in his life for all the wrong reasons

while she does love him the prove is whenever she is hospitalized

he calls out for him .

I'm glad that Armaan made Maan realize a marriage has to have at least

respect , trust , love

to hold a marriage lots of pillars are needed but if the husband is only

concerned about the physical aspect then that marriage is surely doomed

When Savitri Devi, Armaan and Rajveer came to know about what happened to Geet all three were boiling mad. Savitri Devi and Rajveer had tough time holding Singhania brothers back from bashing Devraj especially Armaan. Rajmata tried to keep Armaan, Arjun and Yash away from Devraj and Sameera. Savitri Devi called Devraj and Sameera to her room and behind locked doors verbally thrashed them.

"Rajkumar Devraj, humne aap se subah kya kaha tha ki aap Geetanjali se ek Rajkumari ki tehara aacharan karenge. Aur aap ne kya kiya? Aap ko gyat hai ki kitni kathnai se humne Yuvraj Armaan to aap ke nikat aane se roka hai?" (Prince Devraj how many times I told you to treat Geetanjali like a Princess. What did you do? Are you aware with how much difficulty I've withheld Crowned Prince Armaan from coming near you.) Rajmata Savitri Devi said with extreme anger.

"Humne Rajkumari Geetanjali ki sundarta ke baare mein sunna tha iss liye kewal unko dekhna chahte the!" (I've heard about the beauty of Princess Geetanjali, hence wanted to see her face.) Devraj said with head bent down.

"Toh aap humse yaa unki bhabhiyon se keh dete hum aapko unka chera dikha dete. Naa ki jo ashisht aacharan aap ne kiya hai!" (You could have asked me or her sisters-in-law, and we would have shown you her face not the way you behaved like a indisciplined desperate fool!) Rajmata Savitri Devi then turned towards Sameera. "Rajkumari Sameera, aap ek Rajkumari hain magar Maan ke saamne aap jiss tehara bicchi jaa rahi theen, aap ek Bar dancer ke jaise pratith ho rahi theen!" (Princess Sameera, you are a princess but the way you were falling in front of Maan, you were looking like a bar dancer) Rajmata Savitri Devi said with disgust. "Abb suniye aap dono. Jo aap ne yeh asabhay harqat (uncivilised conduct) ki hai aaj uske paschat kuch diwas (days) aap yahaan se door rahiye. Jab sahi samay hoga, hum aap dono ko phir bulayenge. Tab tak aap pratiksha kijiyega aur kabardaar jo aap ne Maan aur Geetanjali se milne ki koshish ki." (Now listen carefully. The uncivilised behaviour you both did today, after that it is better you make yourself scarce for few days. When time is right, I'll call you both. Till then wait patiently and don't you dare try and meet Maan and Geetanjali.)

Rajmata Savitri Devi and Maharaj Rajveer tried to make the duo leave Rajgarh Palace without being noticed by anyone but unfortunately when they were coming out of Rajmata's room they were met at entrance by incoming Maan and Geetanjali. Devraj and Sameera again got swayed by Geet and Maan's beauty respectively. Devraj lunged at Geetanjali as her face was uncovered and her beauty was attracting him like bumble bee to flower. Geetanjali immediately held Maan's arm and hid behind Maan as she did not want to create a scene.

Maan could now not hold back anymore. He gave a hard punch to Prince Devraj and he stumbled on the floor. Before Maan could hit him again, Rajmata Savitri Devi and Maharaj Rajveer came in between and stopped the fight. They quickly ushered Rajput family out of Rajgarh Palace with Diwanji and Senapatiji's help.

When everyone (SRARAAY) calmed down and had something to drink, Savitri Devi asked, "Maan aur Geetanjali aap dono humse milne aaye the, kuch mahetripuran kaaran (urgent reason) thaa? (Maan aur Geetanjali was there any urgent that you wanted to talk?)

"Anjali aur mai yeh shaadi nahi karna chahte." (Anjali and I don't want to get married) Maan spoke in front of everyone and Geet also nodded in agreement.

"KYUN? “Naa” kehne ka kya kaaran hai?" (WHY? What is the reason for your refusal?)

"Dadimaa, aap ne dekha ki uss b*****d Devraj ne Anjali ke saat kaisa aacharan kiya aur aap tabh bhi….." (Dadimaa you saw the way b*****d Devraj behaved with Anjali and then also.….)

"Devraj, Geetanjali ke honewale pati hain aur kuch nazdikiyaan toh avashiyak hain. Aap ko yaad nahin aap shaadi se poorv kitna Geetanjali ke nikat aana chahte the?"(Devraj is Geetanjali's future husband hence some closeness is bound to happen. Don't you remember how close you wanted to come near Geetanjali before marriage?) Armaan's fist tighten in anger at mention of Devraj.

"Dadimaa, hummei woh Rajkumar Devraj bilkul nahi pasand. Hum unse vivaah nahi kar sakte!" (Dadimaa, I don't like that Prince Devraj. I don't want to marry him.) Geetanjali said timidly.

"Theek hai to aap dono ke pass 3 upaye hain-

1. Aap dono Armaan aur humare pasand kiye hue rishte yaani, Devraj aur Sameera se vivaah karen;

2. Aap dono apni iccha anusar ek jeevan sathi chuniye. Kintu woh rajparivar se aur acche charith ke ho!; aur antim

3. Aap dono apne aapas ki dooriyan samaapt karen aur wapis ek jo jaayein;

Is kaarye ke liye aap dono ko kewal ek maaha arthath 30 diwas deite hain! Kyunki Hum Prithvi, Veer aur Rini ke jeevan ko aur apne maa-baap ki jhoote swabhimaan ki bali nahi chadne denge. Hummei gyat hai ki sautela maa ya baap asli maa-baap jitna prem nahi karte kintu baccho ko ek sampoorn parivar toh milega. Agar iss ek maaha mein aap dono ko apna manpasand jeevan sathi nahi mila, toh aap ko humari iccha ke rishte ko sweekarna hoga. Gyat rahe aap ke paas kewal ek mahaa hai! Aapka samay abb se prarambh hota hai!!!"

(Alright you have 3 options -

1.You get married to Armaan and my choice of alliance namely, Devraj and Sameera;

2.You both find a life partner of your choice coming from a royal family with good character!;and last

3. Sort out differences between both of you and become one.

For this work you both will be given only 1month meaning 30days. Because I cannot see Prithvi, Veer and Rini's life destroyed in their parents false self-respect and pride. I know step-parents can never give same love as real parents, but at least children will get a complete family. If you cannot find a correct a life partner for yourself in a months time, you will have to get married to alliance of our choice. Remember only a month. Your time starts now!!! )

Savitri Devi's this ultimatum left everyone stunned in the room. Geetanjali was the first to leave the room disappointed, depressed and feeling of failure as a mother! She realised the crime she has committed against her children's life by her false self-respect. Once the shock settled then rest everyone slowly left the room. Maan was only one left besides Savitri Devi.

"Maan beta, aap gaye nahin kuch kaam tha?" (Maan do you want to say something?)

"Haan! Main aap se akele mein baath karna chahta hoon!" (Yes! I want to talk to you in privacy.) Maan locked the door and continued, "Mujhe aap ke yeh teeno upaya pasand nahin hain!" (I don't like any of your 3 options!)

"KYUN?" (WHY?)

"Kyunki teeno upaya sirf aap ke liye favourable hain!" (Because these three options are only favourable for you!)

"Aap yeh baat nahi kehte agar aap apni khatir nahin balki bacchon ki khatir sochte!" (If you would not say this if you thought about children needs and not only your personal needs!)

"Matlab?" (Meaning?)

"Agar aap yeh sochte ki aapki shaadi karne se aap ke bacchon ko ek sampoorn parivar milega jo aapko nahi mila. Humare kehne ka arth hai ki jab aap ki Maa aap teeno bacchon ko chudkar gayeen theen, aap 16saal ke the parantu aap ko unki kami abhi tak jeevan ke har mordh (corner) par hoti hain. Prithvi, Veer aur Rini toh kewal 5 saal ke hain, agar woh apne maa-baap se door rahenge to unhe kitni taqleef hogi?" (If you thought about marriage, then your children will get a complete family which you were unable to get. What I mean is that at the age of 16, your mother left this world leaving three of you. Even now you miss her and crave for her love at each stage of your life. Prithvi, Veer and Rini are only 5years old and you want them to live from their parents, won't their live be destroyed?)

"Main aapki baath samjh raha hoon tabhi toh mai dusri shaadi ke liye raazi nahi hoon." (I understand what you are trying to say and thats the reason Idon't want to re-marry.)

"Toh aap Geetanjali ko apne jeevan mein wapis le aaye!" (Then bring Geetanjali back in your life!)

"Magar..." (But...)

"Hummei gyat hai ki aap Geetanjali se iss liye chidte hain kyunki woh aap ke Dadaji ki pasand hain." (I know you are irritated with Geetanjali as she is your grandfather's choice.)

"Nahi Dadimaa! Mai..." (No Dadimaa! I...)

"Aap ko lagta hai ki aapke Dadaji ne aap se aapka swayam jeevan saathi chunne ka adhikar cheen liya hai. Aur apko zabardasti apne Dadaji ka aadesh manna padha." (You feel your right to choose your own life partner was snatched from you. And you were forced to follow your grandfather's wishes.)

"Dadimaa essa kuch nahi hai." (Dadimaa there is nothing like this.)

"Toh aap kyun har baar Geetanjali ko itna dukh dete hain? Jabki woh hamesha aapko khushi deti hai, aap ki jaan tak usne bacchai hai aur woh aapko apni JAAN keti hai. Yeh baat uske operation ke samay pramaanit (proven) bhi hogi hai!" (Then why everytime you hurt Geetanjali so much. Whereas she always tries to give you happiness. She has even saved your life and considers you her LIFE. Which she has proved during her surgery.) Savitri Devi's explaination of Maan's behaviour towards Geet, and Geet's behaviour towards Maan, made him speechless!
