There is no restriction on non-Keralites buying land in Kerala.
That is only in the hills, like Shimla/Mandi...so maybe that's the case in Uttarakhand and all.
Many states will have some restrictions on green belt areas.
People in Jammu Kashmir too should not get carried away by the new demand to their land. They should make sure to protect their green belt (and not let private companies to erode it). Many urban cities are paying price as land sharks have swallowed lake basins for their property construction and now cities are devoid of water.
Land of Jammu Kashmir is the source of many major rivers of India and Pakistan. These lifelines should be preserved. There should not be too much construction activity around them which can disturb the flow of the river. If nature gets furious with man’s greed, he cannot escape its wrath. (Let’s remember Kedarnath flood).
I thought TM wants gurmeet choudhary to buy land for him/her 🤣

That was not dependent on 370. (Earlier also films have been shot).
Main concern for Bollywood would be safety and infrastructure, not article 370.

Thats nonsense..there is bo such thing..atleast about kerala i am 100% sure..2 of my friends are tamilians now settled in kerala since few years..they have their own house, property here.
It's not nonsense just because you dont know it...it is there in UK and HP. I'm from Uttrakhand and also from HP and there is here. And its not restricted to Mandi or Shimla in HP like some folks think. You cant buy here anywhere not even in an industrial town like Baddi. Of course there are riders like one can buy preconstructed flats or if they've lived a certain number of years or if they go to school here...that kind of thing. Ok that's enough for today folks. Somehow I felt it was the same in Kerala also. Guess I was mistaken.
But I sure am glad to know that about Kerala. Opens up so many possibilities.
It is in Meghalaya too, non native people who had lands from olden times, they still have, but non tribals(non Meghalaya tribals to be sspecific) cannot have land here in most of the areas, accept few European quota, while army has their own land.
So if it’s there in so many places why are people acting as if they had been personally affected by this issue since it’s only there in Kashmir and they have been buying land all over other places?
Everyone is just acting smart.
Worst were posts about how they are all going to marry Kashmiri girls now and all the shit comments following it.
Beyond this, I'm even more thrilled that Ladakh has her own voice now and is a UT. This is huge. I'm happy to be alive in such a wonderful time!
