"malhar yeh abhi janma baccha hai , isse aspathal le jaana zaroori hai." anupriya said keeping her hand on malhar's shoulder.

all were silent as they got into the jeep with atharv's words still echoing in their minds.

soon they reached the hopital and malhar was able to get the baby admitted.

"dekhiye acp saab, we have given all preliminary exams and everything looks normal but problem yeh hai ki doodh peene se mana kar raha hai. ithna chota baccha hai aur  usse uski maa ki zaroorath hai."

"am sry doctor par hum abhi uski ma ko la nahi sakthe...meine aap se kaha tha na she is currently missing...we are trying our best to get her back."

"I understand acp saab. the thing is that the baby needs someone who is familiar you see. maa ka voice...her words...her singing... pehchantha hai baby....par kisi aur jo hamesha paas tha during pregnancy .... uske paas shayd woh intimacy feel ho sakti hai....jaise grandmother aur someone..."

"doctor...mein baath karthi thi jab woh sampada ke pet mein tha...gaathi bhi thi...woh hamesha laath martha tha" kalyani said hoping beyond hope it works.

malhar was surprised at her words but did not comment.

"ji aap ..?"

"ji mein massi hoon..uski.."

"oh okay let as try then. see new born babies ko har dho gante mein doodh dena hai....aur yeh  baccha pee hi nahi raha hai isliye hume aur means try karna pad raha hai... aap ayiye usse baath kijiye.try soothing him.godh mein utayiye aur dhoodh dheke dekiye..agar peetha hai toh hum bach gaye...."

kalyani nodded and walked into the  adjacent room to get ready to enter nicu.

"malhar...mein jaanti hoon ki tum kalyani ko pagli samjthi ho, but am sure ki woh sambhal payegi.." anupriya said consoling a very worried malhar.

malhar just nodded and walked off thinking of where his life has landed and praying his baby would cooperate with them and starts to drink his milk.

kallyani walked into the special section in nicu where the baby was screaming like no tomorrow.

she rushed to him and touched his palm.

"accha huwa aap agaye...aapki baby shaanth hi nahi ho raha....rukiye mein usse utta ke dethi hoon." the nurse said as she removed all the wires attached to the baby and gave him to kalyani.

kalyani could only watch in wonder as the baby nuzzled into her and stopped his screaming at once.

"arrey yeh toh aise hi chup ho gaya..khud ke maa ko jaantha hai yeh.." nurse laughed thinking kalyani as his biological mother.

before kalyani could correct her, she left to get the milk bottle for the baby.

kalyani gently turned the baby and saw him looking at her curiously.

"arrey baby...bada nautanki hai tu.haan..sabko pareshan karke rakha hai na..tere baba bhi kithne pareshan hai....ooh kithna cute hai tu....mera baccha..mera pillu."

the baby smiled at her cuing.

"lijiye aap isse doodh pila dijiye.." nurse said as she gave the bottle to kalyani.

kalyani took the bottle and sat in the rocking chair placed near by.

as soon as kalyani placed the bottle near his mouth, pillu started gulping entire bottle greedily making both kalyani and nurse smile in wonder.

minutes passed and finally he slept peacefully.

after placing a sleeping baby back, kalyani along with the nurse came out with smiles on their faces.

"acp saab aap ka baacha so gaya hai...ab dho gante ke baadh hi dhoodh dena hai...apne maa ko dekthe hi bilkul chup ho gaya.." nurse smiled not knowing the truth.

malhar just nodded not in mood to argue and looked at kalyani who was looking at the floor.

"dho gante hai...ghar jaana hai...wahan sab gouri puja ke liye tumhara wait kar rahe hai. i dont want them to get suspicious isse atharv ke bachne ka chance jyada ho jayega..."

"par malharji ..pillu." she said looking towards nicu.

"pillu?? ..the baby will be fine for a couple of hours tab tak hum wapas aajayege."

"malhar sahi kah raha hai kalyani..ab gharwale ke sone ke baaad wapas aajenge."

they arrived back separately as they didn't want to cause any suspicion.

aao saheb as always was ready with her taunts and asked kalyani to perform the arthi and shower devi maa with flowers.

kalyani nodded her head and walked to her room to get ready.

she was about to change when he saw atharv's msg . it was a video msg showing him torturing sampada.

kalyani was so shaken by it  that she couldn't even walk properly. 

she somehow walked to the pooja and stood in front of mata rani and prayed her to save sampada.

she ignored aao saheb and pallavi's taunts and took the tali but her hand was shaking so badly that the taal was shaking with her.

she was about to drop the taal when another pair of hands held the taal firmly and stopped it from falling down.

kalyani turned to see malhar standing near her with a expressionless face.

"pooja karo kalyani.." he commanded and did the aarti along with kalyani and also showered the flowers on devi maiya along with her.

couple of hours passed and soon everyone was off to bed and kalyani sneaked outside to find malhar and aayi waiting for her.

"kalyani..jaldi chali jawo...kal subah se pehle aajana..mein yehan rukti hoon...agar kisi ko shak ho gaya tho sambalne ke liye.." anupriya said as she ushered kallu into the jeep.

the night passed with kallu continuously going back and forth between nicu and waiting room and malhar busy on phone giving instructions to pawar.

they returned early in the morning as not to let anyone know where they were.

after breakfast kalyani sat on her bed thinking abt how much her life has changed.

"kalyani...."

"sampada??" kalyani was too shocked to react seeing sampada.

"bacha kahan hai..."

"thank god tum wapas aagayi...pillu hospital mein hai..teek hai..but he needs you..chalo mere saath malharji bhi yehi hai.."

"what no...mein nahi awwongi.." both turned as they heard  a commotion outside. 

sampada ran to the door locking it  and turned to a shocked kalyani.

suddenly sampada's phone started to ring and kalyani put it in the speaker mode only to hear atharv asking sampada to come back fast.

kalyani stood shocked as she listened to him and realise what was ctually happening.

"kalyani...mein atharv se pyaar karthi hoon...mein malhar ke saath nahi rah sakthi.. mein jaa rahi hoon." sampada said pulling kalyani out of her shocked state.

"par sampada tumhara baccha aur malharji...."

"mein malhar se pyaar nahi karthi samji..mein atharv se pyaar karthi hoon, atharv nahi toh sampada nahi..."

"par sampada..."

before kalyani could say anything else their was a bang on the door and sampada pushed kalyani and jumped out the window.

malhar was busy dealing with  gharwale after sampada's mausii's revelation of sampada not being with her when his earphone picked up voices from kalyani's room.

he stood shocked hearing sampada's voice but was was shattered as he heard her declaring her love for atharv.

he felt like his whole world crashed within seconds.

here he was searching for his kidnapped wife and there she was enjoying with her lover.

it took him a minute to regain his senses and he rushed to anupriya's room leaving a surprised family behind.

he banged on the door several times but no one answered.

he could still hear kalyani pleading sampada not to go, leaving her one day old son and sampada countering her saying she loves atharv. suddenly their voices were getting faint showing they were further away.

malhar crash opened  the door to find both missing and window open.

malhar rushed outside but was stopped by aao saheb.

"malhar yeh sab kya ho raha hai?"

"hatiye aap..." malhar said pushing through the crowded family members.

suddenly vivek mama pulled him back.

"tum aisa kaise jaa sakthe ho? sampada kahan hai aur yeh darwaza kyun thoda."

malhar was in no nood to listen anything and pushed him away and ran outside only to be stopped by the post man.

"malhar rane ke liye .."he said putting the mail in his arms.

malhar looked confused seeing the court seal.

but he was in too much of hurry to look at it and ran .

he was on road looking at every direction but could not find kalyani and sampada anywhere.

lost he returned home to find a hysterical kalyani.

"malharji...woh sampada  chali gayi....ayi woh atharv ke saath hai...unhe bachana hai malhar ji..."

malhar sat down with a thud finally realising wat had actually happened. it finally hit him with full force.

as he sat the mail fell and nal took it and offered to malhar.

malhar absent mindedly opened to find his world shattering again.

"malhar yeh sab kya ho raha hai, aur yeh ladki kya kah rahi hai...hume kuch samjh mein nahi aaraha." aao saheb said looking confused.

"divorce papers.....divorce papers hai yeh...apparently am divorced from sampada..."

"kya?? malhar tum kya keh rahe ho?" aparna asked in shock.

"wahi kah raha hoon jo sach hai...meri biwi...i mean ex biwi baag gayiii.....samji aap...baag gayi....muhje chodu kar mere bete ko chodukar baag gayi.....atharv ke saath baag gayi woh....samjgayi ya aur samjawoon?" malhar thundered with anger.

he stood up at once and walked to his jeep with determination and drove away leaving a shocked family and a worried kalyani behind.
