Part 8

Veer & Naina reach the USA. Madanlal introduces Naina to other family members. Vidyavati is shocked to see the ladies with western costumes. She asks one of Veer's relatives, "Behenji, do ladies dress this way in the USA?"

The lady replied, "Do I look like a behenji? Padma is my name but people call me Paddy."

Everyone starts dancing. 

Madanlal to Naina: Why don't you join them?

Naina to Vidyavati: Can I join them?

Vidyavati: of course! you can

Naina sees them dancing. She admires Veer's dance. The other ladies introduce them to the guests. One of the foreign guests is about to kiss Naina. Vidyavati sees that & pushes him angrily.

Vidyavati: Is this the way to behave with a girl? Don't you have mother & sister at home?

She takes Naina with her. 

Madanlal's brother Sandeep stops them. He said, "Don't leave the party. Naina is like our daughter."

The ladies introduce Naina to others.

Meanwhile, 

The guests said, "She is a funny lady."

Madhvi: They don't belong to our class. Something is wrong with Madanlal that he has picked up the cowdung for our Veer.

All of them laugh.

Naina sees that. Tears roll out from her eyes. She goes to Vidyavati.

Vidyavati: We will have dinner together. I will eat with my girl. 

Both have dinner.

The next day, Naina goes to the terrace. Vidyavati comes there. Naina bows down. Vidyavati blesses her. She said, "God bless you. I have been seeing some people critical of you. In Madanlal's family, half of them are Indians & half of them are westerners. You are as pure as the Ganges river and have to bear the criticism. This is a test for you."

Naina: Mom used to say there is a test for a woman from the day she is born.

Vidyavati: Glad that you know. My blessings are always there with you.

Madanlal enters. He said, "What are you talking with my daughter?"

Vidyavati: Naina will take charge of the house very quickly.

Madanlal: Not at all! My daughter won't do any housework. She has just come to the USA & has to visit many places with Rajiv.

Madanlal to Naina: I have a piece of good news for you. There is going to be a big function in my office where I have called many VIPs & other bigshots from India. So you should be there with Veer.

Naina: What about Raghav?

Madanlal: He is a fool. I don't know how long he will take.

Naina: What dress should I wear?

Madanlal: Indian dress.

Everyone goes for the function.

Everyone tells to Madanlal, "Your to-be DIL is very beautiful."

Madanlal: Thank you.

The chief guest then requests Naina to come to the stage & said, "I want you to hear some words from you about the USA."

Veer gives a nod.

Naina goes to the stage & sings. The song is

Madanlal indicates to Naina, "Sing I love my India." 

Naina sees Raghav & comes running to him. She asks, "Where were you? Why did you take so long?"

Raghav: We will talk later.

Naina: I am singing right now. Please sing with me.

Raghav: I can't sing with you as people might think something else.

Meanwhile, the guests ask Madanlal, "What happened all of a sudden?"

Madanlal: He is Raghav. My second son. He is the son of my deceased brother whom we have adopted and brought him up as our own son.

Naina: Fine, we will talk after the program ends.

She goes back to the stage & continues to sing. The ladies dance.

The next day, Veer hugs Naina & said, "You are the princess of the city. Take care of this pic."

Naina: And you are the prince. It is equally your responsibility. Btw, when are going to Hollywood?

Veer: Tomorrow morning.

Naina: Who are all going?

Veer: The whole family.

Naina: Is Madhvi aunt coming with us?

Veer: Madhvi Aunt! No, she is not coming with us. Happy? 

Naina:  What about Raghav?

Veer: Even he is not coming. You know him very well. Give me a kiss. I am going to the office now.

Naina is shy.

Veer: Come on! It is ok.

Naina: Not now!

The doorbell rings. Madanlal opens the door. Abeer & Meher come in. Madanlal welcomes them. Abeer & Meher meet Veer & Naina. They drop Veer to the office & go to the theatre.

After watching the movie, Abeer said, "Sonakshi Sinha is very pretty."

Meher: Salman Khan is dashing.

Abeer: Sonakshi is pretty but not as much as my Meher. My dear chasmis.

Meher blushes.

At home, Naina asks Paddy, "Where is Raghav?"

Paddy: Raghav does not stay here. He is in the garage all day long & manages the studio upstairs.

Naina: Do you mean to say that he is a servant here?

Paddy: Yes, he is as good as a servant. We have done a lot of favor to him.

Naina: Then where does he have food?

Paddy: He goes to the hotel. When he comes here, we give him food.

Vidyavati comes in. She said, "Forget about Raghav. Have this paratha, else it will become cold."

Naina sees the servant with Vidyavati & said, "I need your help. Give this paratha to Raghav."

The servant goes to the garage & gives the paratha to Raghav with the letter.

Raghav: Naina has sent the paratha & the letter for you.

All others are eager to eat the allu paratha. While one of his friends named Chris read the letter.

The letter states:

It is the order of your dad that you have to come with us.

Chris: If my dad writes this letter to me, I would definitely go even if it is a hell.

Raghav: Dad didn't write the letter. It is Naina who wrote the letter. She is Veer's to-be-wife.

Chris: But she is yet to be his wife.

Raghav shows the pic of Veer & Naina in the newspaper.

Meanwhile, Veer asks Naina, "Where is that pic? Have I not told you to take care of it? Remember where have you kept."

Naina recollects. She said, "Oh I have put paratha inside that paper for Raghav."

Veer: You have made the paratha off the entire thing. All that I can say is you are a typical Indian idiot. You are a villager.

Naina: Mind your tongue. You have told bad about India. Don't say it again.

Veer: Try to understand! This is the only copy that we have.

Raghav enters. He said, "The original copy is with me. In your letter, you have told me to capture the pic into the frame.

He takes out the frame & shows it to Veer & Naina. 

The next day, they go to Hollywood.

Part 9

Veer, Naina & the family have a good time & go to many places in the USA. Veer & Naina sit in the car trolley. They go to the universal studios & the aquarium. Raghav is in touch with little children in India over the phone. Veer & Naina go to the disco. She sees Veer smoking & gets shocked. Raghav comes there.

Naina to Raghav: See, Veer is smoking. You told me that he never smokes.

Raghav: This is the US. 90% of them smoke when they go to the disco.

Naina: And Veer is among 90%.

Suddenly there is an announcement of the musical chair contest.

Raghav: This will be interesting. When the couple sits on the chair, they have to tell the number that will be displayed. If it is correct, they will be regarded as "Made in Heaven."

Naina: Wow. Shall we go to Veer?

Raghav & Naina go to Veer.

Veer introduces Naina to his childhood classmates saying, "She is Naina, my fiancee."

Naina: Are you taking part in the musical chair contest?

Veer: What will I do in the contest. If you want to participate, you go with Raghav.

Raghav & Naina take part in the contest. They manage to take the seat. 

Raghav: 3

Naina: 6

Both numbers get displayed on the board. Raina wins the contest. Veer gets drunk & fights with others. Naina gets shocked. Raghav stops him & takes him home. 

Naina overhears others saying, "Veer always drinks & faints. Raghav takes him home."

She cries.

The next day, Naina sees the frame of her parents & misses them. She goes to Veer's room which is in a complete mess. 

Naina sees the servant & asks her, "You don't clean Veer's room?
The servant replied, "Veer does not let anyone inside."

Naina checks his pics and gets shocked to see his intimate pics with Sanjana. Madhvi enters the room.

Naina: Does Veer have girlfriends?

Madhvi: There is no need to get surprised as in America, it is common. In Veer's life, girls come and go. Veer and Sanjana love each other and wanted to marry but they broke up. You are lucky. You are going to be a DIL of the person who is the owner of 500 billion dollar company. Not Sanjana.

Naina cries.

Madhvi: No point in tears. You have to live with Veer.

After Veer returns, Naina goes to Veer & asked, "Sanjana is your ex-girlfriend right?"

Veer: Yes.

Naina: You loved each other & wanted to marry.

Veer: Yes.

Naina: You both had a physical relationship right?

Veer: Yes, nothing to be surprised as it is common in the USA. Sanjana is my past and you are my present. So relax.

The phone rings. Veer picks the phone & said, "Sanjana, I am going to Australia. If you want to meet me, you meet me at the 5-star hotel. We will go together to Australia."

After the call, Sanjana asks, "You are meeting your ex?"

Veer: If I don't meet her she will feel bad. I will be going there for a few days & might get delayed. Don't wait for me. Have your food. Bye sweetheart.

He leaves.

Naina is disappointed. Raghav enters.

He said, "Oh I am sorry. I entered at the wrong time."

Raghav is about to leave.

Naina: Stop.

She shows the intimate pics of Veer with Sanjana & starts breaking the things.

Naina: You praised Veer left, right, & center. This is how Veer is!

Raghav: It is a very petty thing. Why do you overreact?

Naina: This is not a petty thing. I have asked you about Veer & you told me that he does not have a single bad quality. 

Raghav: Everyone loves you here.

Naina: No one loves me. I have never aspired for a big house, wealth & riches. I have been picked up only because of my innocence so they can cover up everything. I will only be a doll in this house. I don't want this kind of love.

Raghav: Then what kind of love you want.

Naina: I want the love which is full of care, concern & the feeling of belongingness. I don't care about the good looks and financial status. If Veer is not loyal to me now then what is he going to be loyal to me after marrying me?

Raghav gets moved. He said, "Have patience. I will talk to Veer."

Madhvi overhears the conversation.

The next day, Raghav meets Veer & said, "Naina is not the kind of girl that you think."

Veer: Then what kind of a girl she is?

Raghav: Naina is different from others. Indian women have a different type of upbringing so they have a different mindset. You need to understand Naina so she adjusts herself to your ways.

Veer: It is between me and Naina. You are only a friend. So be within your limits.

Raghav goes to the studio and plays the piano. 

Chris sees that and said, "I guess you fell in love with Naina."

Both have an argument.

Raghav: Yes,  love her but I won't go between them.

Chris: Let's see.

Raghav decides not to meet anyone.

Meanwhile, Abeer meets Naina who asks about Raghav.

Abeer: Raghav does not want to meet anyone.

Naina: Not even me?

Abeer: Not even me.

Naina: Fine, if he does not care for me then even I don't care for him.

Abeer: Raghav cares for you. Today is his birthday.

Naina calls up Raghav but the receptionist said, Raghav is not there."

Raghav calls up the operator & said, "If you get any calls asking for me, tell them I am not there. I want to be alone."

Veer comes.

Naina: Today is Raghav's birthday. How about going to his place?

Veer: When Raghav has not called how can we go?

Naina: But he is your friend.

Veer: In America, we leave that person who wants to be alone.

Naina: We don't do that in India. On the contrary, we force that person to mingle with others.

Veer: This is not India. If you are interested, you can go with Abeer.

Veer leaves. Naina is disappointed.

Madhvi enters. She said, "I hope a least now you understood what Veer wants from you."

Naina goes with Abeer for Raghav's birthday.

After the celebrations, Veer calls up Raghav and said, "Happy birthday, my dear friend.  I am sorry. I could not come. So I sent her with Abeer. Will you bring Naina?"

Raghav: Yes.

Veer: There is a celebration in the dockyard. So I want you to come there.

Raghav: Sure.

Raghav & Naina reach the dockyard.

Part 10

Everyone dances at the party. The dancing partners keep changing, A stranger dances with Naina & & pulls her veil. She feels uncomfortable.

Naina: Please give my veil.

Raghav is playing guitar as the musician ran away. Seeing the scene between Naina & the stranger, Raghav comes & hits him black & blue & gives Naina's veil to her.

Naina: Please don't hit him.

Veer goes to Raghav & said, "Relax, why did you hit him?"

Raghav: He took Naina's veil.

Veer: So what? She is my fiancee. I know to take care of her.  It is my job to protect her dignity. I have made a big mistake, inviting you to this party. Now get lost. Leave us alone.

Naina protests.

Veer: Just shut up.

Meanwhile, Madhvi meets Madanlal & said, "The fire gives light but when it keeps burning, you see the wax gets melted."

Madanlal: Come to the point.

Madhvi: The way Raghav & Naina coming close is somewhat fishy.

Madanlal: Nothing like that. You told this today but don't say it again. I know what to do.

The next day, Raghav meets Madanlal and asked, "Dad, Did you call me?"

Madanlal: Yes,  called you.  I have a piece of good news for you. Our board of directors decided to give you the charge of Los Angelos branch. You will be the major shareholder. You will get the car & the flat. Here are the car keys for you.  I know you like my car. You can take it. Here is my car key.

Raghav: You seem to be very happy.

Madanlal: I am happy as well as sad.  I am sad that you are leaving us & going. You have to leave tomorrow morning at 5 am. Veer's wedding is fixed on the 9th of this month.

Raghav: Can I go after 2 days?

Madanlal: No, it is urgent & this is your first board meeting. It is a question of your career.

Raghav touches Madanlal's feet who in turn bless him.

Madanlal hugs Raghav & said. "You too find a nice girl & get married."

The next day, "Naina calls up at the studio. Chris picks up the phone."

Naina: Can I speak to Raghav?

Chris: Raghav has left.

Naina: Where?

Chris: Don't know. He left early morning. He didn't say anything.

Raghav takes out his pic in which they took part in the contest & tears it.

He leaves for Los Angelos.

Naina is sad. The phone rings.

Naina speaks to Kishorilal.

Kishorilal: How are you?

Naina: I'm fine.

Kishorilal asks again: How are you?

Naina: I'm fine. Why are you asking again & again?

Kishorilal: What happened to your voice?

Naina:  had too much of ice cream. Veer is fine. He has gone out. Everyone is fine. How is everyone in our place? How is mom, granny, & bua? I miss you a lot. When are you coming here? Please come. 

The line cuts. Naina cries. Vidyavati comes there & said, "Don't cry."

 Both hug each other.

After some time, Madanlal comes in. He asks, "Where is your engagement ring?"

She checks it & gets baffled on not finding it.

Madanlal: I have it. You had left it near the swimming pool at the party. 

He gives her the ring & said, "Wear it."

Naina wears the ring.

Madanlal:  You are a part & the pride of our family. I have picked you up from India. We always desired to have you as our DIL & you are going to be a part of Veer's life. I know that Veer is a difficult guy. He follows the western ways. You need to add your flavor in his colors. That is the understanding that we had right? 

Naina: Yes

Veer comes there. He said, "My friends from Las Vegas have called me for the party. So I am going there.

Madanlal: Sure. Take Naina with you.

Veer: Of course.

Madanlal: First, you say sorry to Naina.

Veer: I'm sorry.

Veer leaves.

Madanlal: Veer is soft at heart. Now you start packing your things & go with Veer to Las Vegas.

Veer & Naina get into the car. Both are on the way to Las Vegas.

Vidyavati sees the pics Las Vegas & asks Madan Lal, "What kind of the place Las Vegas is?"

Madanlal: It is a fun-filled city where children & the grown-ups go. But the elderly persons don't take children to these places.

Vidyavati: When are taking us?

Madanlal: Yes, I will certainly take you there. I will show you Santoshi Mata's temple.

Raghav's friends are sad as they are missing him.

Veer & Naina reach Las Vegas.

Both go to the hotel room.

Veer is enjoying the weather. Naina asks, "What are you doing?"

Veer: This is a very romantic place. So I want to teach you to love.

Naina: I don't want to learn now. Go to your room now.

Veer: Every wife needs to learn how to learn her husband else he will get upset.

He puts his head on her lap.

Naina: I am not your wife. There are a few days left for our marriage.

Veer: So what? we will marry now.

Veer: I accept you as my legally wedded wife. Now here is the bridal kiss.

He goes to kiss Naina but she stops him.

Veer: All my friends are having a gala time with their girlfriends. No pretense.

Naina: Why don't you understand? They are westerners & we are Indians. Let 15 days & 7 rounds get over. Let me be your wife first. After that, you can do anything with me.

Veer: 7 rounds is utter bullshit. I don't believe in these things. You Indians talk a lot about the values. Before marriage, you people bring up girls & boys separately. Men & women have a different world but after marriage, they produce kids like animals. India has made the world record when it comes to population. You Indians are double-standard people. Do you want to hear more?

Veer continues, "You Indians, your parents,  & you are uneducated & are villagers. India is filled with gobar and is a shit country. India stinks everywhere."

Naina gets angry & slaps him. 

She said, "You have badmouthed my India for which I am breaking my engagement with you. You Americans think we are useless. I am not interested in this type of pretense."

She throws the engagement ring on the fire lamp. Veer slaps her back.

Naina gets shocked. She said, "You slapped me."

She hits Veer black & blue. Veer holds her & lies down on her. 

Naina screams. Veer tears her dress & bites her body.

Naina hits him on his head. Veer falls unconscious. The phone rings. Naina ignores the phone call and takes the help of a kind driver & reach the railway station.

The phone rings. Veer gains his consciousness. He picks the call & speaks to Madanlal.

Veer: Naina is not in her room.

Madanlal: Come home immediately.

Veer goes home.

Madanlal: I cannot believe that Naina could do such a thing.

Veer: I don't know. After I came from my room and went to her room, she was not there.

Madanlal: Call the police and ask for an immediate appointment.

He calls up Raghav's colleagues who pass on the information to him.

Raghav calls up from the reliable sources & gets the information that a driver has dropped an Indian girl to the Waterlront railway station.

Raghav goes to the station. Naina sees him & hugs him emotionally.

Raghav: What happened? Why are you crying? Please tell me.

Naina shows her torn dress. Raghav gets shocked. He asks, "Who did this?"

Naina: Veer.  I want to go back to India. I don't want to live here. I don't want to marry Veer.

Raghav: Fine, before that, we need to go home.

Naina: Yes, I want to tell this to Vidyavati Aunty. After that, I want to go back.

Raghav brings Naina home. Madanlal is happy. Naina goes to the room. Vidyavati comes there & sees her crying.

Vidyavati sees her torn dress & the bruises in her body & asks, "Who did this?"

Naina: Veer did this.

She narrates everything that had happened. Vidyavati & Naina meet everyone in the room. 

Vidya to Madanlal in front of the family: Veer had lied to all of you. Look at her state. This is what Veer has done to her. I was afraid of that day because of which we were against this relationship. But we considered your friendship & proceeded with this relationship.

Madanlal gets shocked. He said, "Veer does believe the Western culture & hates India but never thought he would go to this extent."

Naina shows Veer's bites on her body to all. Veer gets shocked.

Madanlal slaps Veer & said, "You have done this to Naina. It was my fault to think that her love will change you but  I was wrong. You don't deserve her."

He dials Kishorilal's number and gives to Vidyavati.

Vidyavati: Madanlal wants to talk to you.

Madanlal: We are coming to India.

Everyone goes to India leaving Veer. But Veer comes on his own.

Naina sees Kishorilal and hugs him. She tells the family all that had happened and how Raghav supported her.

Asha: Now Naina's marriage will not take place with Veer.

Madanlal: Yes, you are right but Naina will still be my DIL as I have decided to get my second son Raghav married to Naina.

Flashback:

Naina & Vidyavati were in their room. 

Madanlal goes to Raghav's room and said, "Thanks for bringing Naina safely."

Raghav: It is my duty and pleasure to help Naina. 

Madanlal: Do you love Naina?

Raghav is speechless.

Madanlal: I have understood. Your silence means yes. Your friends told me everything. Only the person who loves truly have the guts to sacrifice. I will get you married to Naina.

Flashback ends.

Kishorilal is happy. He said, "Thank God that we will still remain as samdans."

Veer reaches there.

Madanlal: Why did you come here?

Veer: You had decided to get me married to Naina. How could you do this?

Madanlal: It is your misdeeds which forced me to take this decision. We have decided to settle in India and operate our business here. You stay in the USA and do whatever you want.

Veer: I am sorry, dad.

Madanlal: You apologize to Naina. If she forgives you and accepts you back, I have no problem.

Veer goes to Naina and said, "I am very sorry. Please forgive me. I love you. Please accept me as your husband."

Naina: I forgive you but I can't accept you as my life-partner as I love Raghav. There are many incidents where you have never cared about what I feel. Even at your friends' party when the man had taken my veil and was misbehaving, it was Raghav who saved me. He did that which you should have done. That was the time I realized my love for Raghav, but for the family's honor, I kept quiet and came with you everywhere. I didn't know whether Raghav feels for me the same way. I am sorry. I can't marry you now. You have always loved Sanjana. Get married to her and be happy.

Veer: You are right. Sanjana is my first love. It is my mistake.

Veer calls up Sanjana & said, "I love you Sanjana & want to marry you. I am sorry for everything. Please come back."

Sanjana gets emotional

She said: I remember our golden days of our college. We broke up because of misunderstanding. I missed you a lot. I love you a lot.

Naina then goes to Raghav & said, "I love you."

Raghav: I love you too.

Naina: Why didn't you tell this to me before?

Raghav: I had not realized my love for you. Thanks to Chris. He helped me to realize that.

Sanjana comes to India. Veer & Sanjana hug each other.

Veer: She is Sanjana, my first love. 

He bows before Sanjana & asked, "Will you marry me?"

Sanjana: Yes

Madanlal is happy. He said, "Both marriages will take place on the same day."

15 days later,

Raghav marries Naina.

Veer marries Sanjana.

They live happily ever after.

good that vidyavati saved naina from getting kissed by the foreigner.sad that at the party all are saying that naina doesn't suit veer. naina singing was nice.raghav mehbeer dancing when she sang was superb.mehbeer theatre scene was romantic. veer asking naina for a kiss before going to the office was romantic.poor raghav is treated like a servant n now naina too realized it.naina sending him paratha was nice.naina should have been careful about the pic in the newspaper. but veer shouldn't have insulted naina.naina telling veer not to badmouth her country was superb.loved raghav coming as a saviour with the original photograph n frame 

good to see raina playing the chair game together n winning.poor naina realized that veer drinks n smokes.shocking that naina found intimate pics of veeranjana.madhavi is so shameless to give stupid explanation on that to naina.oh veer too admitted it .still id is going to meet sanjana.poor naina.naina telling raghav that there is no point to be with veer if he is not loyal was an emotional scene.raghav admitting to his friend that he loves naina was nice.sad that he decided not to come between veerna.raghav singing..naina singing at raghav's birthday party was sweet.but in that scene you have put a sad pic of raina thrice.I feel they were not needed

liked raghav beating that guy n returning the veil to naina.instead of thanking raghav beer insulted him.he is so irritating n ungrateful.good that madanlal didn't believe madhavi.madanlal making veer apologize to naina was nice.naina suppressing her pain while talking to kishorelal was touchy.song scene was nice.but in 2 places instead of veena pics you have put raina pics.oh shamelessly veer is trying to romance naina.good that she refused.naina is so smart that she slapped him when he insulted her country.veer slapping n biting her was too much.liked the bold naina who hit him n escaped

raina meeting at the railway station was a surprise.good that naina decided to break up with veer.glad that madanlal realized how bad veer is .happy that madanlal realized raghav’s love 4 naina .liked him talking to raghav regarding it n telling naina’s family about raina marriage.good that veer apologized to naina.but how shamelessly veer is asking madanlal why he is conducting raina wedding n asking naina to accept him again.Loved naina tellingveer that she can 4give him but she cant accept him n she loves raghav.Lovedveer calling up sanjana..apologizing to her n proposing her 4 marriage.Raina confession was emotional.Sanjana returning..veeranjana hug..veer proposing sanjana was romantic.Happy that Raina n Veeranjana got married.nice pics
