Sooryavansham Is must watch on tv for me and my whole family. The songs (kore kore and Dil mere tu deewana hai. The comedy by Kader Khan and Anupam Kher. Big B with one of his best performances. Double role specialist.

Despite all these plus points why did it fail when it's super hit in tv ratings whenever it airs

I like that movie too bt in tamil<3evn when I was small my dad use to watch it <3Rosapoo China rosappoo<3

I did not like the movie in Telugu ... Hindi tho door ki baat hain...

I did not like the movie but watched it a lot when I was young because back then it was shown a lot on TV..

Because the movie was crap. TV audience watches it, but they also watch craps like Saath Nibhana Saathiya and Sasural Simar Ka.

Because other than Amitabh, there was no other known actor/actress. Also, Amitabh was too old to play the protagonist.
