I think all of them take emergencies so in E. R you do clash up with doctors even with different specializations.basic general treatment can be given by any surgeon in any field.

Tu Chicago Med yahaan mat ghusa. That show is different and this is different. DMG is more Scrubs than Grey's. And CM is like Grey's.

Plus, ER doctors are different as far as I know. Any normal doctor/surgeon can't work in the ER just like an ER doctor can't perform brain surgery. Like, if someone is rushed to the ER and you find out it was cause the patient was having a heart attack, then you call a cardiologist. Or something of the sort.

But, Sheena will know cause she works at a hospital.

^ also, showing AR clash over a patient's treatment is kinda unreal cause they've worked seamlessly as a team all through their internship. So, obviously, they always discuss various treatments and go ahead with what both of them agree upon and think is best.

Not so much DRAMA, just the fun stuff that comes long with having someone new! Like DMG did this all the time!

And let's be real, if we're talking about how stuff ACTUALLY works, the gang would not get five days off at the same time. EVER. That would never happen in the real world.

^i mean my bua doesn't have major clashes but different opinions do happen. And it's a show, we have to dramatise a little. IK scrubs is very real and goofy but a real doc actually had said CM is 90% close to real stuff especially the situation of Chicago they have showed. But well DMG definitely have long emotional attachments with patients in one instance, it's no scrubs. DMG had patients staying in the hospital for months which was crazy. So obsessed with new docs. Srsly. I don't think I'm bringing a new doc. It's just super cliche. Everyone does that all the time. Some new doc comes. Either it's a super hot girl and the guys flirt and girls get mad or it's a handsome guy and the girls swoon and guys get territorial and jealous. Don't y'all get bored reading the same stuff? This has literally been done so many times! I find it boring now.

Also, I agree that DMG is in no way realistic. But we can argue that the show only showed 20 minutes off their very long day at work. 20 minutes ka break toh milta hi hoga na. :p
