Ashi Singh is an Indian television actress, currently playing the lead role in popular serial Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai. Her portrayal of Naina Agarwal, the quintessential girl next door has won her millions of fans around the world. Good acting should be invisible. You shouldn't be aware of the acting. It should feel real.

Ashi made her debut in TV through Secret Diaries: The Hidden Chapters which aired on Channel V where she played the role of the female lead's friend.She further made her appearances in Savdhaan India in Life OK and Gumrah again in Channel V.
She got her big break when she got the role of Naina Agarwal in the popular show Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai in Sony TV and instantly rose to fame.

Ashi Singh was born into a middle-class Hindu family. She is very close to her family and friends. Most details about her family are never revealed, however her mother Nandini could be seen accompanying her to her shoots quite often. Apart from her mother, her family comprises of her father and two sisters.

A Leo by sun sign, Ashi was born in Agra, stayed in Delhi and shifted to Mumbai later on. Currently, along with the show, she is also studying in college. She likes to be organized and confesses to have OCD. Typically though, she also loves shopping, however her favourite colour unlike most girls is blue.

She shares a good rapport with her co-stars, especially Ayesha Kaduskar, who is also a very good friend. She loves dancing, listening to music and is quiet a party animal. She prefers home cooked food, and cannot live without eating rice. However, she doesn't like to cook, saying that eating is more preferable than cooking. Incredibly enough, she is not at all figure conscious and hates working out.

She doesn't smoke and also doesn't like alcohol. A strong focused career oriented girl, she is clear that she is not dating anybody, and is completely dedicated to her growth in the industry. She has accumulated numerous fan followings at the national as well as an international level.
