Hey everyone
Although I'm not new to IF, this is the first time I'm writing here on this forum.
I've actually just binge watched the show and now I'm caught up. Like pretty much everyone here, I'm a big fan of MeerVaan. Additi and Arjit have the most amazing chemistry and despite the many flaws of the show, they make you keep watching because you just feel so invested in their characters.
MeerVaan have been through ALOT! And that's putting it mildly😆 We've seen them at their best and their worst. We've watched getting married in extreme circumstances, laughed at their bickering, sighed over their romance and now we've reached a stage where they're going to have to fight Meera's family to be together.
MeerVaan love each other so much. But sometimes love is not enough. All Meera wanted from Vivaan was for him to trust her. And he failed. Even though he knew her, he believed a stranger over her. He believed that Meera was capable of conspiring against him. And that's what broke her. And even though he apologised, she told him today it wasn't enough. She couldn't forgive him. And that's what Vivaan needs to do more then anything else. He needs to win back her trust and faith in him. To show her he will be there for her no matter what and that she can rely on him always.
And now there's another obstacle to overcome too. Papa Dhingra...whose being a real Amrish Puri right now. I can understand him being concerned about Vivaan being with his daughter after what he did, but his ultimatum to Meera was unfair. Not once did he ask her what she wanted. He, like Vivaan earlier, gave Meera no choice.
I also really liked the scene between Dollyji and Vivaan. At least he knows that there is someone on his side.
But I loved the precap. Vivaan told Papa Dhingra that he was not leaving and this was a big step towards mending his relationship with Meera and at the same time showing her he wasn't giving up.
Bring on the angst!
