"Aye Ponga Pandit! Pehli baar to hum sabki hai.College sab pehli baar hi aye hein.Koi paida nahin hua tha yahan.Aur agar Mitali ki kaand bhul gaya ho phir se yaad dila dun?'' Munna asked and Pandit's face fell.He too wanted a girl who would love him for what he is truly..without a single pie,without good looks ..And all he got was cheated.
"Jane de naa Munna.Jo baat bit gayi ho use yaad karne ka koi fayda nahin.Ab aage ki sochte hein.'' Sameer said and engulfed both in side hugs.
"Attention!Dear Students.Good Morning to all of you.I hope college ke sabhi bache yahan present hein.Aap log sochte honge college mein maine assembly kyun bulayi.Kyunki aaj ki announcement sirf notice board pe chipkane wali mamuli announcement nahin hai.This announcement is for pride of VJN,Ahmedabad.Yeh announcement un sabhi students ka sapna hai jo zindagi mein kuch kar gujarne ka junoon rakhte hein..khud ki kabilayat pe sabse jyada bharosa hai aur uss kabiliyat ko apni aur VJN ki maan maryada mein parivartan karna jinka lakshya hai...

BRAINS MEET ki saari details apko College ki saari Notice Board pe mil jayega.But there is an important eligibility cursor.Apko participate karne ke liye apki next exams jo ki 15 days ke baad hai usme minimum 76% above lana hai.76% ke baad apki screening test hoga jisme sirf 6 bacho ko opportunity milegi VJN Ahmedabad ko represent karne ke liye.

Principal Ma'am finally completed her long rehearsed speech much to relief of some students and excitement of some students.Some students seemed neutral for they were lost in their own world to care about Principal Ma'am and her speech.
"Yaar!Yeh competition karte kyun hein jisme sab participate hi nahin kar sakte.76%? Apni khandan mein sabke percentage bhi mila dun phir bhi kum aayenge''. Pandit said as he saw himself clearly not eligible for the contest.
"Aye!Ponga Pandit..Suna nahin competition ki naam kya hai..'BRAINS MEET'..Matlab Dimag ka Milan'..Humare pass itne dimag nahin hein ki dimag ki Milan pratiyogita mein bhi dimag laagake jeetein..Sameer tu kya soch raha hai?'' Munna asked seeing Sameer thoughtful.
"Kuch nahin yaar..yehi ki Naina se kitne din dur rehna padega.Ab to ek din use dekhe bina ,baatein kiye bina nahin guzarta''. Sameer said as he saw Naina checking the details of the contest on the notice board at far.
"Haan yaar..Bhabhi to pakka select ho jayegi.VJN Ahmedabad ke saath hum sabka naam roshan karegi. ''Munna exclaimed happily as they saw Preeti,Swati and Naina coming towards them chatting away happily.
"Arey tum teeno yahin khade hi rahoge kya?Canteen mein chalo. ''Naina said and moved forward while the gang followed behind.
"Suno!Main sabke liye ek ek form laa dungi.Result kuch bhi ho lekin sab 76% ke liye mehnat karenge.Samjhe na? Naina said as she kept her notebook on the table where all the details were recorded.
"Kya Naina! Humse naa ho payega yeh 76 ya 86%..Yeh Ponga Pandit aur mera milake bhi 70% nahin hoga.Tum hi participate karlo aur saare trophy jeet lao.Phir to Sameer hum sabko party dega..Kyun Sameer?'' Munna said and winked while Sameer blushed.
"Haan haan de dunga.Akhir Naina ki jeet meri bhi jeet hai na.'' Sameer said and looked at her.Their eyes met and she felt she would melt like the soft butter on bread.Such intense the gaze was,such blazing the smile was..
"Hum bhi hein yahan...'' Preeti nudged bringing both of them back out of reverie.
"Wo..haan hum kahan the?'' Naina asked covering her blush with a straight face.
"Hum to yahin the bas tum dono kahin kho gaye the.''Swati teased earning a playful smack from Naina.
"Haan to bolo..Kitne forms laa dun?'' Naina asked and all seemed quiet.Naina was not surprised but disheartened surely.
"Tum log na bahut kharab ho.Form bhi fill up nahin karoge kya?'' Naina sat sulking and Sameer took the effort of pacifying her.
"Naina!Suno.Aaj hi competition ka announcement hua hai.Sab ko thoda waqt do.Kal apna decision bata denge.Chalo sab ab thoda thanda pi lete hein aur kuch kha bhi lete hein.'' Sameer said and Naina understood she was being too quick and impulsive in taking decisions.
Next Day
"KYA?? Tum form submit nahin karoge?'' Naina asked Sameer as the gang settled down in canteen.
"Mujhse nahin hoga Naina.15 din mein padhai karke 76% lana muskil hai mere liye.Accounting ab tak samajh nahin aa raha hai.'' Sameer said as he took a sip of the cold drink.The heat outside and inside was increasing.
"Par tum koshish to kar sakte ho.Aise kaise bina koshish kiye competition ko haath se jaane doge?'' Naina said and pulled out another form from her notebook.
"Yeh kya hai?'' Sameer asked though he understood what it was about.
"Tum form bharoge ya main bhardungi?Saari details pata hai mujhe.''Naina asked with determination written on her face.
"Bilkul apne baap Safari Suit pe gayi hai Bhabhi.'' Pandit whispered in Sameer's ears and Naina could hear the hushed words.
"Safari Suit ki tarah thappad lagake form bhi bharwa sakti hun.Jaldi bharo.'' Naina commanded and Munna rubbed his eyes to see if by chance their ex-librarian came in get up of their sweet Naina Bhabhi.
"Ziddi ho na tum.'' Sameer spoke as he finally relented and started filling the form.
"Haan hun ziddi.Tum agar ziddi ho to main maha ziddi.Ab Nagpur saath jaayenge.'' Naina said as she applied gum to her passport size photograph.
"Haan Bhabhi!Ab to Brains meet' ke saath Dils Meet' bhi hoga. Munna exclaimed and Pandit seconded while Sameer and Naina looked at each other.
Eye to eye.Lips to lips.
Before anyone could decipher anything Naina pulled the cold drink Sameer was drinking. She stuck out her tongue and leaned forward.Licking the mouth of the bottle she sipped the drink. He felt intoxicated with the gesture..He glanced at her and she raised her eyes with a sly smile playing at her lips.He felt he was losing his senses in the most sensous,beautiful and simplest of ways.
"Form bhar ke daal lena Principal office ke box mein.'' Naina said as she gathered her notebook and other accessories to leave for library.She left not before throwing him a parting look.His eyes twinkled and she felt relieved and both believed.
"Tum bahane banana band karo.Koi sardard nahi hai.Job Costing,Process Costing aur Standard Costing.Yeh teen chapters mujhe kal revised chahiye. ''Naina commanded over the phone while Sameer felt he would faint seeing the chapters and their horror titles.
"Sameer!Tum na Ramdhari se kehke adrak wali chai pi lo.Jyada sar dard hai to main ek chapter kum kar leti hun.Baaki ke do chapters kar lena.Please.Hum dono ko competition mein jaana hai na.Bas 13 din ki mehnat to ho.Phir hum dono...''She bit her tongue as she realised she was blabbering unmindfully...blabbering her heart's cravings.
This caught his attention.He knew what she meant but decided to tease her a bit.He really enjoyed pulling her legs until she gives up and blurts the truth.Her smiles and laughter have been his best medicine.
"Phir hum dono kya Naina?'' He asked and she knew he would catch her off guard.She was no less even.
"Phir hum dono saath mein competition ke liye prepare karenge.'' She replied and his interest accelerated.
"Phir hum dono... ''He trailed again...
"Phir hum dono screening mein select hogaye toh saath mein Nagpur jaayenge.'' She replied knowing very well how to play along and make her moves.
"Phir hum dono...'' He asked as a naughty thought played in his mind.
"Phir tum apni Safari Suit se thappad khaoge ''.She said controlling her laughter.She finally gave an unanticipated twist to her reply.
"KYAA?Ab hum dono ke beech ab Tayab Ali kahan se chala aya?'' He asked frustrated not getting to listen to his desired reply.
"Kyunki agar hum dono ko wo ek saath akele mein dekhenge to baalon ke dukan ko thappad to padega na?'' Naina asked and Sameer burst into laughter imagining the scenario.Though the situation was scary and not at all anticipated in dreams even still he could not stop himself from rolling in laughter.
"Ho gaya?Ab jao padhai karo.Mujhe bhi karni hai.Ache se padhai karke 76% la doge to prize milega.'' Naina said as she herself blushed at the proposal.
"Acha..kya?Flying kiss?'' Sameer asked while Naina decided to tease him a bit more before hanging off for the day.
"Usse bhi jyada kuch.'' She said and quickly hung off.
He heard the call getting disconnected and smiled at her growing boldness.And the way she is luring him to study and get through the competition.
"Chal Sameer Maheshwari!Ab to padhna hi padega''.Sameer said to himself as he pulled the chair to study his assigned topics.
20 Days Later
" Sameer! Sameeer...'' Munna and Pandit rushed through the corridors and sprinted down the stairs in joy and exploding happiness.
"Dhire dhire..Kya hua?Aise bhag kyun rahe ho dono?'' Sameer asked as both jumped and gave him a crushing hug.
"Bhai tera 76.4% aya hai..Matlab tera Nagpur Bhabhi ke saath jana pakka.'' Pandit exclaimed engulfing Sameer in another crushing hug.
"Sach?Mujhe to yakeen hi nahin ho raha''. Sameer asked disbelievingly though he knew he and Naina had laboured hard enough to be in the competition ..to be together throughout.
"Haan bhai.Kuch der mein notice lag jayega board pe.Hum office ke register se dekh ke aa rahein hein. ''Munna said and explained how they had mistakenly peeped into the results register thinking it to be their attendance register.
"Naina ko batake aate hein.'' Pandit said and Sameer stopped him holding his hand.
"Naina ko main bataunga apne tarike se.'' Sameer said as he left the Canteen.
How dreadful...to be caught up in a game and have no idea of the rules...
