Part 3 : Sameer and Naina plots to talk to her family...

College:

Naina and her gals are in the class chatting about the new movie that's going to release that weekend- Hum aapke hain kaun... and she says she wishes to see that movie with Sameer... Just then Sameer enters with mundit.. hair flying and wearing yellow shirt that Naina loves.. Just one look at him and Naina misses her beat... and Sameer too stops in her tracks as he looks at Naina and see her looking so lovingly at him... Mundit still talking on and realizes Sameer is not there and sees him stopped in tracks at the door and they instinctively look at Naina... And gives their knowing look ... And Pandit starts singing... baharon phool barsao mera meheboob aaya hain...  and Naina and Sameer snap out of their long trance...

S: winks and shows his shirt to N and asks her with eyes how do I look?

N: cringes her nose and says ok by the wave of her hand ...

S: has his eyes wide.. in shock..and asks really??? Just ok?

N: puts her fingers on her cheeks in a thinking mode... and suddenly smiles and crosses her arms across to say she loved it...

S: smiles and walks to his spot in the class.. and asks n to come in front and sit with him..

N: denies.. not today... and shows her gals preety and Swati..

S: looks at the other gals and preety gestures that today N is going to sit with them and pouts..

S: looks at N and gives a sad look..

N: looks and winks at S and gives a small flying kiss and gestures to the watch she is wearing.. to indicate this flying kiss will make him last till the end of the class... and looks down..

S: smiles and gives a thumbs up.. just then JBR comes in..

At red Rose restaurant:

All are busy talking about the movie Hum Aapke hain kaun- they want to watch and all decide to watch it on Saturday.

Naina and preety are apprehensive as to how they will be able to leave the house for movie.. and Sameer realizes this and asks will it be ok for you both to come or no? N gestures to S she will try to get them out for the movie.. and S knows that once naina decides on something .. fir to bas..

All go to order something leaving the loverbirds alone.. S takes this opportunity to talk to N about his talk with V.

S: suno..

N: just jerks at that sweet note.. and remembers when she had said the same way to S ( after their manhoos sequence talk) and looks at him and says hmmm

S: kya hmmm maine itne pyar se suno kahan aur tum ho ke.. hmmm

N: smiles and holds her ears... showing sorry... and say kahiye..

S: just stares at that sweet word " Kahiye and after a moment of composure says.. aaj mummy ne mujhse baat ki..kutch khaas..jo mujhe tumhe batani hain..

N: gets alert at the mention of his mom.. Kyun kya hua sab thik hain? Mere baare mein kutch kahan? Kya vo naaraz hain kisi baat se? batao na Sameer .. mera to dil baitha jaa raha hain... kutch bolo.. sameer...

S: remembering the similar conversation in the morning when V had come and said that she wanted to talk something important about n ( flashback to that scene where s asks many questions about n and if she did something worng ) and gives his smiling nod.. arey baba... tum to.. kutch darni wali baat nahin hain.. aur ab to tumne sirf bete ko hi nahin maa ko bhi apna diwana bana diya hain... mummy ke hisab se tum to kabhi kutch galat kar hi nahin sakti... gussewala aur nakchadaha beta to mein hoon unka... and pouts...

N: lowers her eyes and smiles. Accha to batao kya jaroori baat kahi hain aunty ne?

S: pehli baat- kal subh ki flight se mummy vapas delhi jaa rahi hain.. aur jaane se pehle vo tumse milna chahti hain.. to agar college jane se pehle tum ghar pe aajao to accha hoga aur phir hum sab saath hi mein college aa jayenge..

N: hummm accha thik hain.. par milna hain matlab kutch baat karni hain unko... unhone kutch kahan? Ki sirf ek baar aur dekhna chahti hain mujhe... ?

S: Ek baar kya mein to tumhe pura din aisai hi tuktuki laga ke dekh sakta hoonn. And he tilts his head and keeps staring at her...

N: arey yahan baat aunty ki ho rahi hain aur tum apni hi baat bich mein laa rahe ho... Aur batao na aur kya kaha hain...

S: aur unhone ... Unhone...ummm ummm ummm

N: Sameer kya? Kya ummm ummm unhone? Aisa kya kahan unhone ke tumhari bolti band ho gayi? Jaldi se batao na.. aise kyun sata rahe ho...

S: Arey baba batata hoon batata hoon... vo mummy ne... ummm mummy ne mujhse...vo..ummm.. and he looks at N's apprehensive face and is enjoying it... vo...unhone mujse kahan ki agle saal vo chahti hain...he slowly inches closer to N and says vo chahti hain.. agle saal.. and inches even closer.. hamari shaadi ho jaye.. and stares at N

N: eyes wide in shock and realizes what S just said... and blushes and lowers her eyes..

S: bilkul aisa hi haal tha mera jab unhone mujhse yeh kaha tha.. and he slowly puts his hand on hers to calm her nerves.. as he know what he had felt when V had talked to him about it.. and he knew exactly what N is feeling..he wants them to bask in this moment ... moment when his mom wants them to get married soon... and after that they will not have to ask for permission to go anywhere neither they will have to find excuses and lie to meet and hide if they see someone in the movie hall or at ice crme parlor...no more restrictions on anything.. and suddenly he realizes his hand that was resting on Ns hand and started to slowly carress her arm.. and the propect of marriage and touch just made him more aware of what awaits... and they both look at each other as if they both felt that at the same time..

N: suddenly feeling the heat under S's hand..slowly pulls her hand out from under his hand and looks down.

S: who is now flustered at the reaction that he felt.. feels nervous and immediately blurts out...we need to meet after college to talk some more.. as he sees the gang coming back with food...

N: understands that S is uncomfortable with his own surge of feelings and emotions and knowingly puts her hand over his hand to calm him and assures him.. I am all yours with her eyes. Thik hain.. college ke baad ghar pe phone karke bata doongi ke extra class hain to main late vaapis aaongi aur hum log kahin baith ke baat kar sakte hain.

The whole gang comes back, they resume talking about the movie plans for the weekend..., and S and N are lost in their own world...

After college:

N and S on the staircase of the top floor of the college... where no one comes, as this floor is nothing but used as storage sparece for old furniture ...

N fidgeting with her bangles and S is also busy looking elsewhere... both still uncomfortable with the emotions that they had experienced in the red rose restaurant...

N: Sameer.. batao kya baat karni thi.. mujhe jaldi ghar bhi jana hain...

S: vo mummy chahti hain agle saal hamari shaadi ho jaye aur tum ghar aa jao.. unke bete aur ghar ko sambhalne.. and bites his lip..and smiles...

N: too shies and says hmmm

S: par yeh to tabhi hoga jab tumhari family raazi hogi hamare rishte ke liye... Waise to mujhe maloom hain ke tumhare ghar pe mujhe sab pasand karte hain... to unhe to koi dikkat nahin hogi hamari shaadi se par...N: par..

Both together: papa...and they both look at each other and start laughing.. and suddenly get serious...

N: Papa... hey bhagwan .. papa ko kaise manaenge... vo to tumhein kabhi bhi... And she leaves it mid-sentence looking at S

S: kya matlab nahin manenge? Unke paas koi choice hain kya? Aur waise bhi mere jaisa damad vo agar dhoondhne bhi niklenge to nahin milega... baat karti ho...

N: kya matlab hain tumhara... ki mujhe tumhare jaisa aur koi nahin milega?? Kehna kya chahte ho tum? Ki main tumhare peeche padi hoon kyunki tumara jaisa to mujhe koi mil hi nahin sakta.. yahi kehna chahte ho tum?

S: arey aisa maine kab kahan... tum to baat ko kahan se kahan leke jaa rahi ho... mera sirf yahi kehna tha ki mere jaisa handsome, ek lauta Maheshwari khandan ka waaris..tumhare papa yaani ki safari suit yaani ki param pujya Rakesh sir ko nahi milega.. is liye unka nahin mananeka to sawal hi paida nahin hota... haan vo alag baat hain hum jab bhi mile hain tabhi kutch na kutch aisa ho jata hain ki meri aur unki tan jaati hain... aur vo mujhe samaj nahin paate..

N: now a little annoyed at the way S is talking about himself: says haa haa tum to lakhon mein ek ho.. ameer ho.. jaise mami mama kehte hain.. raees ho.. tumhe bhala koi kaise reject kar sakta hain... and rolls her eyes..

S: ab is mein mama mami kahan se aagaye..

N: kahan se matlab.. vo to hamesha sae hi the jahan hain... tumhare ghar pe.. aur mujhe maloom hain ke vo mujhe pasad nahin karte kyunki unke hisab se sundarta aur naina.. in dono ka door door tak koi mel nahin hain...( flashback to the scene when n had come to apply mehendi and un knowlingly had made a mess in the kitchen and she was thrown out of the house ) she is visibly upset now.. and gets up and starts pacing up and down the stairs...

S: arey yeh sab tum kya bol rahi ho.. hum kya baat kar rahe the aur tum use kahan leke chali gayi... aur haan mein manta hoon mami ko tum pasad nahi ho... par vo dil ki buri nahin hain.. aur mummy ne kahan hain mamaji unse baat karenge aur vo bhi puri tarah se tumhe apna lengi...

N: vo hi to problem hain... Unhe manana padega..kyonki unki nazaro mein to tum kisi desh ke sunder sey rajkumar ho... Kisi sultanat ke raja... maheshwari khandan ka khoobsurat waaris.. jo salman khan jaisa dikhta hain...unhe main kaise pasand aaongi... Naina is lucid now.. bcoz she has heard that enough.. she has been told all her life that she is below par in looks and sometimes told ..she is outright ugly... ( flashback of taiji saying and mami saying the same thing ).. aur agar tum bhi aisa hi soch te ho... to kyun ho mere saath jao tum bhi jao ... kisi pari ke pass.. kisi rajkumari jaisi dekhani wali...Jannat ki hoor ke pass... jao tum us... Us... Sunaina ke paas.. jise tumhari mami ne pasand kiya hain...

S: Sunaina.. ab yeh Sunaina kahan se aa gai bich mein... Aur kya matlab hain tumhara agar mein aisa sochta hoon to??? Maine aisa kabhi bhi kaha hain?? Ulte hamesha tumhari tariff hi ki hain ( flashback to pujadidi mehendi scene when taiji is saying crap and S defends her ) agar mujhe aisa kabhi bhi lagta to kya mein tumhe paane ke liye.. itne papad belta.. tamboo lagata?? Kutch to soch ke bolo... S is getting annoyed too...

N: in full angry mode...soch ke bolo? Mein soch ke hi bol rahi hoon.. aur waisai bhi meri soch tumse kai jyaaad unchi hain aur acchi hain.. aisa hi nahin mein school aur college ki topper... and turns around in anger..

S walking towards N: to tumhara matlab hain meri soch acchi nahin hain...aur sacchi bhi nahin hain??? He slams his hands in front of his face and says in Namaste pose...tum topper ho maine kab mana kiya hain.. par iska matlab yeh nahin ki tum mere aure mere ghar walon ke baare mein kutch bhi kahogi...

N: arey yeh accha hain.. tumhare ghar wale mere baarein mein kutch bhi soche vo thik hain...par mein unke baare mein jo saach hain vo bol bhi nahin sakti?? Aur tum jo mere papa ke baarein mein bhala bura kehte rehte ho.. uska kya?

S: ab to yeh bahut jyada ho raha hain... tum mami ko Rakesh sir ke saath compare kar rahi ho... Rakesh sir ne mujhe thappad pe thappad mare hain.. kitna bhala bura kahte hain aure jab bhi dekho mujhe daant te rehte hain... ( flashback of all the scenes where S is getting slapped and shouted upon by Rakesh Sir ) mami ne kab tumhare saath aisa kiya hain? Jara batao to bhala..

N: jo mami ne kahan vo thappad se jyada chubha hain mujhe.. aur usse bhi jyada is baat sey ki .. Tum sirf wahan khade khade sab sun rahe the... mana ki tum manhoos mode mein the..par mujhse bepanaah pyar bhi to karte the.. tumhare pyar ko koi bhala bura keh raha hain... aur tum wahan boot ki tarah sirf khade the... Aur mujhe bataya sab munna pandit ne .. ki unhone baad mein mere liye mami ko samne jawab bhi diya.. aur tum sirf wahan khade the...

S: to aur kya karta... sabke samne mami se lad padta ?? ke aapne naina ke barein mein aisa kahan hi kaise??? Jo kutch aapne abhi kahan vo sab waapis lo aur abhi ke abhi usko waapis leke aao aur ghar ki bahu ke roop mein swikar karlo?? Baat karti ho...

N and S both are pretty angry.. The both just look at each other and start walking down and go different ways to home..
