I think Sridevi will be hugely recognised during award ceremonies this year both in bollywood and down south. She would be mostly conferred with lifetime achievement or under some specially created categories 😆. BTW was she given any tribute in the Lux awards? She was one of their ambassadors.

I saw this song today. Jayaprada is obviously the better dancer by far since she's trained and all. But mindblowing work put in by Sridevi. This is really really fast paced and you can tell how hard it is for her compared to Jayaprada but still she did a fab job and kept to the best and in synchronisation.

One year already according to the Hindu calendar... still feels unreal!

I still cry when I think she's no more. No other celebrities death has affected me as much as hers. She was my childhood. I was 9 when Chandni & Chaalbaaz released. I was too young to remember her other movies and I didn't understand Hindi that well then. My first memory of Sri was in the movie Tohfa where she comes home after marrying Shakti Kapoor. I remember being mesmerised by her.

For me she was the greatest actress to grace the India film industry. She was a complete actress and for me no actress after her has been able to showcase this acting range.

Sri was the megastar of Indian cinema.
