LOL at a midwestern State University students wearing designer clothes 😆
Tell that to the marines
Good shoes, yes, thats a must in this country for guys at least but not brand names at that level, Abercrombie and Fitch is also believable but certainly nobody wears Gucci and Versace at Indiana University 😆

And nowdays 90% are in Under Armour😆.

In RS' case, we know he is well-to-do & he's talking rubbish here because he has mentioned a few times how he & his Dad had "very nice/ expensive watches & he grew up with Valentino stuff" etc. I do love that he seems
Humble etc but lol, he was really well-to-do the time he was talking about. 😆

no one would choose to go to IU of all places if they weren't rolling in money, and also didn't have the grades to get into a better school. any Indian univ would have been better.

LOL. Oh come on Veer. I like Ranveer but sometimes he is kinda ridiculous.
Dude, here in Canada or even in the US, post-secondary education is almost double as expensive for international students compared to domestic students. Plus living expenses. Domestic students even get government loans and grants and way more scholarship options. So if you are an international student, you are from a wealthy family back home.

And this is not Bollywood or the high class society of India where you have to flaunt all your designers to show off your wealth. People in North America are casual. Apart from maybe Los Angeles.

Ranveer's forum in-laws can relax, cause his real in-laws adore him and they do actually know him firsthand unlike forum in-laws who speculate on his personality. If they had a problem with Ranveer and thought he was not worthy of her they would have let their daughter know about it but instead he is a part of their private birthday parties, anniversaries and even family holidays.
This was just clicked in December, so I guess the Padukones do not mind their daughter's not so classy, by forum standards, boyfriend -

There are different levels of wealthy.

1) wealthy enough to live comfortably, own a car or two, take your annual vacation to a moderate holiday location like Goa, keep a house help, save to get the minimum amount of money required to travel buy yr ticket and pay for four years
2) filthy rich, roaring business, houses all over, have an army of servants, vacation wheneverto Europe, east Asia. But not necessarily will these rich kiddies admitted to prestigious schools in USA. You gotta have the marks to show. And some certificates to show youare a serious achieving student. Those who can't get into the better unis then apply for lower tier colleges paying the full tuition as compared to scholarship students from other third world or developing countries.

Do you know how hard it is to get into a good university in India??? Hahahaha. The cut off mark is99 percent for Pete's sakes!!And for a young person Usa is a great place to get away to. So much diversity. New cultures of every sort, Spanish, Asian, European, Middle East. It's a broadening experience, and not merely for book learning.
