There seems to be a trend in Hindi shows now- make a previously positive, loving , caring hero or heroine into a psychopathic obsessed lover or killer or both
So far I have seen this in Saam Daam Dhand Bedh- Mandira going mad over her ex lover
Ek Deewana tha- Vyom turning into a killing machine
Now KBR- sweet Namrata is a ruthless killer
I think Haasil also has a similar situation
Are all te writers suffering from writers block and copying each other's ideas?

I think they feel having a lead as a psycho increases the thrill factor in a show

Very well put dear. Now a days it has become a trend to turn one of the leads into a psychopath. I think they feel it is a good way to deal with a love triangle. And as 2filmy says it adds a thrill factor to the show also.

They should understand that love triangles can be dealt in better ways instead of the psycho angle

KBR writers have a beautifully written story to look up to but nooo they have to bring in two female leads, make one psycho killer and ruin the original story.

Initially when the cvs added several sub plots I was okay with it but now just for the sake of some suspense and thrill(as mentioned by other members) they made Namratha the killer and ruined the whole plot. Now nothing's is making any senseHow hard is it for them to follow the actual plot

From yesterday's episode its evident that Namratha isnt searching for the shivlings because she knows the importance and uses of those precious shivlings and wants them for her own benefits. She's working for the foreigners...what for ??money??Her motive behind finding the precious shivlings will not make any sense now given the facts that A zamindar's daughter went to the extent of killing her own brother and probably her father just for money??? 😕
