At least, Gauri going off to Bareilly was used properly because Omkara thought that Gauri was having an affair that time.

I will not be surprised if they show that they spoke about their whole past that night and suddenly one day in future Gauri says Omkaraji ke baare mei hume sab patha hai and Omkara says Kaali Thakur ke baare mei mei sab jaantha hoon

And we'll be scratching our heads with widened eyes thinking when did this actually happen 😆
