Why do people like Vikas?

The season is about to end and I am still unable to find a single reason to like him, so please enlighten me. Honestly, I dont give a damn to intelligence so kindly refrain from using the M word, or bash other contestants. This is a Vikas-only post.

Though I am Fan of Shilpa, yes voted for her.

Hes got a ton of likeable qualities, his nature being one of them since you mentioned not to mention his intelligence which is one of his greatest assets!

Marzi naam ki bhi cheez hoti hai .. Log toh kya kya pasand kar lete hain..vikas toh fir bhi acha baccha hai..

I am confused with the responses here that whether people are praising him or what.

I feel he is too controlling and gets irritated when someone says no to him. Everything else mentioned about him above is not his unique quality. The same could be said about other contestants.

1. You said you do not care about intelllegence. According to me, intelligence is a very attractive quality. I dont know why you would not want to count that because just because of him, this season was not just about doing tasks physically. If you see in most of the seasons, people barely try to think and do things.They just play like Hina who is very active in tasks but barely uses her brain to win it.

6. He has a sense of loyalty. Throughout the game, if anyone has helped him move ahead in the game, he has tried his best to help them by returning the favor back. This is the kind of gameplay i appreciate.

7. He tries to be extra friendly with everyone as much as possible. I have that quality in me that even if i fight with anyone, i need to make up with them or else i start feeling bad later. I like to be in everyone's good books even if i do not agree with people. It is not that he wants to be friends with everyone. He just wants to be cordial to everyone as much as possible just to avoid negativity.

There are many more things. I do not want to waste your precious time on that. If you havent liked him until now, I do not have to convince you to like him anyway.

Of course he is not any mahaanta ki murat. Everyone has their flaws. From all other people there, I would anyday vouch for him.

He likes to have decisive power, He gets irritated when things dont go his way. He just needs to work on that and of course many other things..

Thank you for writing this well put response. I will try to answer each point separately.

1. Intelligence: I don't see it as a quality because it is for your own benefit. I will be perfectly fine with a guy with average intelligence if he has a good heart. People who usually have the sticker of mastermind often put their ability to harm people in my observation.

2. Sense of humor: This is totally subjective. I don't remember a single moment where I find Vikas funny. Ali, Mannu and Puneesh had a sense of humor that match my taste better.

3. Articulation: Winning every debate would be a quality if I was watching a debate program. In BB, winning every debate means he was never wrong. I ask you is it possible? I like Shilpa, but she was wrong on many occasions. I don't like Hina, but on many occasions she was right. To me it looks like more lack of self-accountability.

4. Progressive Thinking: When did Hina show regressive thinking? or Puneesh? or Bandagi? I think Pungi are even more progressive than him.

5 & 6. Swearing and Loyalty: There are other housemates as well who share the same qualities.

7. Extra-friendly: Is it a quality? I dont know what is the average age and experience of BB viewers, but honestly, this is not a quality. This is the first danger sign in normal life. People who are extra-friendly are the one who wants to take out your secrets and then they later use it for their own advantage.

So far I am unable to find why people like him, or do they really like him? Perhaps, his PR machinery on social media is brain washing people to make them believe that he has qualities even the ones he has never shown in the entire season.
