I am looking for recommendations of non-romance shows that you liked, preferably Japanese but I am open to others. I tried korean non-romance ones and it's always a hit or miss. for example, misaeng & argon were good but I couldn't stand Bad Guys or You are all surrounded. on the other hand, I have always lucked out with japanese non-romance focused shows. they are less over the top & subtle in their storytelling I feel. To start us off, here are some of the ones I can remember enjoying:
Doctor X (hand down the best medical show I have ever watched. it's so ridiculously unrealistic that it's adorable. I watched every season).
Caution, hazardous wife
It's so fun and I don't have to worry about getting addicted. it's a relaxing crime periodically with a gang of housewives.
zero no shinjitsu
I like how predictably the characters behave. it's calming.
