When a celebrity is before the court. One of the arguments they make is they will not be safe amongst commoners but a target in Prison.
Prisons do have a separate section for people in the public eye. These places however do not have much room so being sent to one is based on priority. So many celebs buy their way out.
If a celeb does a crime they should be sent to jail. No money accepted.
Now a proposal to build a jail the size of a large shopping centre. Divided into male and female quarters. Exactly like a normal jail. They deserve no more than a commoner.
They are expected to work whilst in jail as well.
To cook and sew. The products will be donated to orphanages and street children.
If tax payers are paying money for the up keep of this jail then society should be benefiting from it. Put them to work.
Also when a celebrity enters jail all contracts are still valid for people under their employment outside of jail.
Let's say they hire a driver or cleaner for a 4 year contract. If they get sent to jail within the first year. The contract is valid and they need to pay the employees for the remaining years. Even if they are not using their services.
I know some might find this amusing and stupid but I am really tired of celebrities breaking laws and getting away with it.
They should be punished.
