In the span of six years with some versatile
movie roles, Parineeti Chopra has indeed
stamped her mark in the crazy world of
Bollywood. She also is the cousin of Priyanka
Chopra who has stamped her mark in a
global level.
Recently, in an interview with a leading daily,
Parineeti had spoken about creating her
own identity and not just being Priyanka's
cousin. The actress stated, "We're always
going to be cousins but today, I have my
own identity as well, which I am very proud
of. And that has only happened because I
did some really gutsy films during the start
of my career. I want my entire career to be
like that so that I can always surprise my
audience and they keep feeling that I'm my
own instead of just being my cousin's
sister."
In a tte--tte, when Pinkvilla asked
Parineeti about her relationship with Mimi
didi (as Parineeti fondly calls her elder
sister), the actress revealed, "It's so positive
and beautiful. She genuinely is such an
amazing elder sister. She only has love and
positivity towards me. Every time we talk or
meet, it's just about being a family and
being sisters. I give all the credit to her
because that's the person that she is. She's
very good at taking care of everyone and
she mothers everyone. She takes care of the
whole family, she is that person. So, I give all
the credit to her. She's the one who
maintains such a lovely sister relationship
between us."
Parineeti added, "She's truly one of the
rarest people you will find. I look up to her,
too much with the kind of work that she is
doing and she's been doing for the past
seventeen years. She's been creating
benchmarks and milestones from the start
of her career."
