Chopra's next titled Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To
Aisa Laga.
Anil Kapoor and Chopra had earlier
collaborated for 1994 movie 1942 A Love
Story where he was paired opposite
Manisha Koirala, and Jackie Shroff.
For Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga, Anil will
be seen alongside his daughter Sonam
Kapoor. The movie is titled after the popular
track by the same name. "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha
To Aisa Laga is a big project for us, and it's a
great thing that Anil is collaborating with us
to make it. In fact, both Anil and Sonam will
be part of the cast of the film, said Vidhu to
a leading news agency.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra is also gearing up for
his next production, Sanjay Dutt biopic,
which is being directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead
role.
"The film is being made very well. I'm pretty
excited about it. The best part is that Ranbir
Kapoor has done a fabulous job as Sanjay
Dutt, and the film is shaping up really well,"
he added.
Along with Ranbir, the movie also stars
Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Sonam
Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal and
Karishma Tanna in pivotal roles. In an
interview, when Ranbir was asked about
the movie, he said, "I am really keeping my
fingers crossed for Sanjay Dutt biopic, it was
an altogether different experience shooting
for the film. I can't imagine and believe how
much can a man go through hell in one life.
He has paid for his deeds, made mistakes
and got everything in this life. While filming
there were times when I would observe him
a lot, talk and walk like him but then I
started to distance myself from him. After
the image and look of Sanjay Dutt was
released it was appreciated, but the role that
I am portraying is not an act. I hope
everyone likes it."
