"We never annulled it remember? We are still married" he smiled gently as she bent over the passport form filling it all out
She looked up startled
"You returned the franchisee agreement and you packed your bags and took off" he continued

"I was going to come use the legal marriage thing as my last resort in Ullal" he said sheepishly

Her eyes filled up with tears
"Ive had an incredible journey Trish" he swallowed
She nodded letting the tears flow
"Some might call it horrific" he choked a bit
"I lost myself, I lost my Dad I lost a friend, I gutted my Dad's dream, I abandoned my family home and moved here" he paused
And stood up quickly
"Outwardly I probably look like a arrogant SOB" he said
"Whats SOB?" she asked
He sighed, quickly wiped a tear and turned towards her with a smile

"Umm... now that I have to say it... umm.. son of a umm... b.." he swallowed
"Oh?" she nodded cringing
"I chased away my cousins and my uncles and my well wishers
I checked myself into a rehab.. to get rid of my addiction. I havent touched alcohol in almost 9? years?" he said

Ashvin couldnt speak... his throat felt like it was closing in, he nodded slowly pushing tears out

"My trail of destruction didnt stop with me or my family, it touched you... you lost a parent and a brother is missing" he said
she stood up
"Paresh said he will look when he is in Ullal" she said innocently
As if Sanchet lived around the block and he could be spotted
"I dont think your Dad should ever forgive me" he said gruffly

They both stared out at the night sky
the curtains were drawn and the sky was clear, despite a lot of street lights some stars were visible.
He slid the French doors open
walking out
"We can take Leela also?" she asked
He turned around leaned on the balcony and grinned
"So she can teach you every nickname she has for me?" he challenged
"Means... I am going to learn it anyway no" she argued

"Sometimes she says nice words also" Trisha reassured Ashvin
"OH REALLY?" "Huh?" he was amused
"She said you dropped her for her Political Science exam" she narrated

"She also said you have hit many bad boys and sent them to hospital"
He laughed hysterically shaking his head
"they were not boys?" Trisha asked sincerely
"She played you Trish..." he gasped
"Means?" she awaited clarification
"I did not send anyone to the hospital" he choked on his laugh
"She showed me photo no" she said smugly
He went on his phone and Googled
"Like these?" he asked
"Yes... the same" she nodded
"She is a troublemaker... stay away from her" he whispered gathering both her hands and pulling her towards his body
"She says you are, you say she is, if both are troublemaker means?" she wondered
"U are in trouble" he nodded intensely... bending down on her face
