Hammie's Impression's ep 46~4.9.17~ eensy weensy spider..
It's s a popular nursery rhyme often called itsy bitsy spider..children love it and so do I.. The spider, ordinarily as seen, an interesting eight legged predatory arachnid, with a pair of poisonous fangs, two feelers. What's more it comes along with two silk spinning organs at the end of its body. The spider is one ingenious architect of gossamer silky cocoons too. Secure a place for its eggs ,plus provides death traps for unwelcoming prey ! Its known that the sight of the creature causes much fear and fright amongst humans ,men and women both. Even miss Muffet was frightened by a spider! But it conflicts with eensy weensy spider which is washed away by rain, but when the sun comes up! It climbs up the spout again!Love the spiders's resilience. Another story that comes to mind is that of Robert Bruce king of Scotland beaten by the English, to save his life hides in a cave. For months he hides in the cave! depressed by his defeat. He contemplates fleeing the area, let alone fight the English once again! Till he watches a spider spinning its web at the entrance of the cave. Umpteenth time it fell and pulled it self again only to fall it again! Till at last it succeeds and completes its intricate web! With that attitude Robert leaves his hiding place to vanquish the English without giving up!The episode today, since it touches upon the theme of spiders..makes me think of Chandni .. Her motto in life to me, seems like Robert the Bruce s spider..if at first you don't succeed ,try again and again till you attain what you aim for. Her goals are to win her step mother's love, and to crack the mystery of the riddle as to why Advay hates her and her family so much!
Advay is sometimes like an open book for Chandni to read. He warns her he will not turn her out but will make it easier for her to leave on her own accord. Seems he means business now, get her stuff together! and slip away. Only Chandni refuses. He has to use other methods. Preying on her fear always worked. Frightening the life out of her should make the lass run to save it! Murli as usual does the dirty work for his master. But instead the house spiders turn out by mistake to be venomous ones! Will she live? or will she be dead? Bitten by the creepy crawlies? Who's fault will it be, Advay's? So much so, for kicking the poor girl out! Advay can be in deep waters!!
Is the new bride having mood swings? Does anyone care she hasn't eaten for days?dear Murli sounds off to all Chandni has eaten.. Advay had said he'd look after her to Indrani. At the dinner table he leaves abruptly , Nani reckons it's a good sign. It was. Somehow a noodle dish is whipped up by a pair of hands, but with a heart that wants Pooja to do the serving job. Pooja does, but not without teasing Advay for looking out for his wife. Advay is not amused. It's for maternal love Chandni starves for, it's one delicacy she craves for. In desperation like the resilient spider , yet again she rings home in the hope she'll be fed her mother's love. Mamaji is always there to break down morsels of food so she doesn't choke. Yet again he's cruel to be kind to her remind Chandni her mother does not wish to engage with her in any way. Neeru sums up the mother daughter relationship as odd, and one sided. Bitterly he tells Chandni that in her past life she must have committed some serious sins ,to be punished in this world with an awful and heartless mother like Indrani. Where as she must have done some good deeds in her past to earn such a blessed daughter like Chandni. Yet again mama ji reiterates a reminder to Chandni. She is married now ,best get on with her new life and give up on receiving any love ,recognition or respect from inderani. But Chandni refuses to accept her mother's cold indifference and vows to gain her step mother's love, for she is tough on getting that which belongs to her ,that which she deserve's her mother's love. Here its not out of place to mention that the word spider is associated with spinning a web, symbolically it alludes to trapping one in lies and deceit. Where Indrani is concerned we know the truth about her feelings towards Chandni.Chandni being in the dark about them, puts her in a precarious position. Mamaji tells her openly, but the girl is hell bent, one day her mother will recognise her true worth and award her a mother's love... But then when it comes to her family. Chandni keeps every rebuff of her mother in her heart, and manages to put up a front!
Noodles Chandni's comfort food. She devours them hungrily, savours their taste.. Boy she was hungry! compliments to the chef! and bon appetite! to Chandni . Pooja smiles, Advay knows a lot more about Chandni than he lets out . She too will not reveal more than is necessary. Pooja does not say much its not her place ,but her bro's to tell his wife that he made Chandni's favourite food! For Chandni having noodles here, is perhaps initiating her into her new home?Is Advay wanting her to get comfortable here?
But mystery man, boggles and baffles Chandni. He actually does her head in! It's his inconsistencies , that make Advay the man he is. His idea in the main is to keep this lying ,feisty Chandni on her dainty toes! When all slumber. He enters her room, wants to know if she is fed? what does he care? She jibes. He does! as he wants none to leave his house on an empty belly! Rudely he wants her to leave, no one will know, she can leave without anyone interfering. Chandni recalls her vow to Nani and kicks up a fuss. Quietly,yet firmly he insists she leave his house. She argues and stalls. He moans ,he hates repeating himself. Chandni retorts, so does she!! She is not going anywhere. No point in arguing , only issuing a warning now, Advay reckons, as he turns and mutters, whatever follows will be her own doing! Coldly, detached and distantly aloof he tells her to lock the door . Chandni does as he asks. Advay exits..
His warning she'll be responsible for not paying heed to his command.Gives Chandni the creeps! a cold shudder passes through her body. She has enough fears that come crawling towards her. They crawl, edge towards her, fright her, that her mother will never speak to her!! creep slowly towards again! shakes Chandni up. His insistence she leave! gives her cold sweats, what if she holds her ground? What is he likely to do? Her inability to read his heart, mind and soul makes her blood curdle! All her anxieties wriggle and sneak up at her from all directions!! Chandni screams! She sees spiders scuttling towards her!! she loses her mind and drops to the floor! passes out cold! no more fears! No more awareness! Peace at last!
Her scream! Murli phones Advay ,mistake ,the spiders are killers! Advay loses his mind! sprints down the corridor!Races down the stairs! His legs in quick motion! He has to beat time! the closed door delays him! his folly he sees ! kicks it open! She lies in a circle of creepy menacing, sneaking up, edging closer to her spiders! He breaks into the circle of death , retrives her! carries her to the deadly bed! gets bitten by a spider on the bed.. better him than her!!! leaves Murli to tend to her and shaken by his misdeed leaves!!
So he saved her, broke the door! dispersed the spiders? But more questions crawl into her mind.. she knew he must have set the fright scenario to scare her off into leaving? But then why did he not let her die? Why save her? now his actions riddle her more than ever before! She knows that she herself will have to gather strength and get answers from him! does she realize she is banging her head against a brick wall??
Dev looks down at the photo of Chandni and him.. it was devious of him to use her fear of spiders to make her flee from him! his heart beats against his ribs, but he was unaware they were deadly.. he would never try to destroy her, how can he? when Dev only protected her from any and every harm that even looked in her direction.. but now he seems to have made a big blunder! Chandni creeps up behind him !and he hides the photo.. let memories remain buried..
She wants answers from him what did he just put away? He needn't answer to her! tells her to mind her own business! besides go to bed! but Chandni refuses to take no for any answer. She wants answers, like why the hate for her and her family! One minute he hates her and the next he comes to pull her out of danger? His incoherent actions , leave her puzzled. She fails to understand his game plans. You look and seem the enemy to me ,yet you come out as a friend to help me when Iam hurt! You only want to be the one to hurt me.. Advay recalls his marriage vow to her .. silently he mulls over, yes I had vowed to myself that I would protect you against harm! So that I and I alone can cause you pain! Be your sole pain giver! He turned his back to her.. it was enough to tell her he will listen to her tirade! but will not give away anything. Chandni loses it! she will wrangle out the truth from all the ASR's hiding in this stubborn frame!this is Chandni Yash Narayan vashisht's promise! Advay feels her banter against his sold back and a huge tear stays trapped in his eye..he mutters, you forget destiny and time are in my grip.. you won't get anything out of me. Chandni retorts. She knows how to pilfer moments for herself for time you watch! And she leaves in a strop! But feeling lighter ,as she killed some of the spiders that were out to get her!
She needs to know more about him so she knows how best to defend herself.Nani suspects chandni wants to know about his past romantic involvements! she divulges he had loads of girl friends. But chandni wants to know the reason of his deep resentment towards her? nani gives an example of her anklets tinkling puzzling her as a child. she would look for the sound little did she realize she herself carried the sound why Advay hates her? chandni will have to pick up the vibes of dev.. within her self and see if Dev and Advay are one and the same? Fantastic episode.. thanks to Barun, Shivani, the two reasons me still here.. the dignity and grace in which both actors conduct themselves.. is admirable. I will support them ,thank them for the hard work they put in to entertain me... precap looks explosive.. so looking forward to watching this show... much love and respect to all .. IPKKND 3..
