Part 4 : The Rabbit saga

The Rabbit jumped over the fence into the vegetable patch. He was desperate to find Carrot; he had not seen her for a full day now.

But he tried to show that he was nonchalant, and bored.

Ce : Rabbit, hey rabbit. Look at me, I am here

The Rabbit felt weird but he turned around hopefully. Only to find the celery walking towards him, batting her eyelashes.

R : Oh, it's you? And what is this?

He indicated towards the huge leaves that Celery had covered herself with.

Ce : Rabbo, you are so cute! You don;'t even know that this is the latest trend - to wear dresses made of leaves.

The rabbit simply rolled his eyes and hopped away. He had to find his Carrot.

He stopped in his track and wondered. And then smiled. How easy was it to say - His carrot ! He blushed and looked down at the green grass, and started nibbling at them. After a while, he felt tired, and lay down on the soft grass, thinking that it was the Carrot's lap.

He slipped into a blissful sleep, only to wake up suddenly, as if hit by something.

He looked all around and rubbed his soft belly, searching for the source of disturbance.

And there lay before him thye source - the Potato lay hopelessly rolling on the ground, in front of him.

Expecting another kick from the rabbit.
