@RI:

Girl you're on fire. I'm on lunch and it's winter! I won't go out coz I got a workmate to get me coffee! So here I am reading your comment!!

OliCity fan club represent! I could feel the Rabba Ve between them right from the start! Lol Even when he was still hung up on his ex! I love hot guy Nerdy girls combo's. That's why I loved RumYa! Let's not go into how they were screwed! I think once Felicity said something to Ollie that sounded suggestive and fan girl like and Ollie was amused by it and she was embarrassed and tried to cover it up! That was the moment I shipped them. But I always loved the nerdy glasses look and smarts of Fecility and that bad boy turned vigilante hotness of Ollie. I'm not following the show anymore. Just no time! If you still are then have they done it? Lol

Yeah the bodice rippers and the Darcy style anti heros! I am Mr Darcy's no 1 fan and he was a gentlemen. He never manhandeled women. He respected them. He was just proud and full of it! But his feelings for Elizabeth transformed him. He was always a good guy. This was never about being a bad guy. The bad guy was always Wickham who had all the charm but non of the character. But Darcy was the package and non of these losers who are so called Darcy modelled characters can even come close to Jane's Darcy! She was a genius! My favourite writer!

What I love about our hero Neil is that even in anger he shows control. He doesn't break things! (Pathetic action BTW). Even after the wedding when he was SO mad at her, he still showed restraint. Zain did one of his best jobs there. In fact I heard he said that was his favourite scene to do other than the recent Agni pariksha of females scene! Neil is not a guy who shows undue anger. He's a grown up, not a man child and he doesn't require saving! 3 things I like about him. Of course Zain's baby face makes him all the more lovable! :)

@MrDarcyFan

Mandy, as far as I know, Mr Darcy was a gentleman, no manhandling as you said. The story was of two equals, they might not belong to the same social class but Elizabeth and Mr Darcy both were strong headed and proud people.

Actually I followed TEI to a certain level and TBH I was not really impressed with Zain's performance there... Yes he was a villain there, a handsome villain... I don't know if I can call it overacting.. his set of actions and his dialogue deliveries and all fell out of the box for me... He played as a 10 year old boy for some period of time, he was acting that in front of the protogonists there, those trials clearly showed his commitment and hard work towards his work, but failed to pay... at least for me...
No offence to Zain's fans, I love him now... 😳
No offence to Yuvi fans too, sorry for that, just my opinion...

But now when I see him in NK, he has come long way ... There are so many things behind it, as you said the story line, the director , the co-cast and most important the character...

And about murdering English lol... I find myself entertained by those... And I guess it's meant for the same... But Radha Rani sometimes get on my nerves... She makes me struggle to understand what she says... By the time I decode what she said, Vicky would have left the room already... 😆
I enjoyed the most is Manorama Raizada... I loved her comic timings and the accent she delivered... I loved watching her... Utkarsha Naik nailed it...

Shwetha ji I guess is better when compared to both... I like to listen to her even...

I didn't watch TEI, so I can't say, I saw only some few clips, they seemed good to me but I didn't really focus to see.

On a general level (not related to any actor/actress)

The way people perceive acting is a very relative thing, what seems good to you might not seem good to someone else, what might seem good to you today might not seem good to you tomorrow, it also depends on how much it convinces you or affects you. What matters to me is at the moment I watch I should be able to watch and not leave in the middle because I couldn't stand someone's acting, in emotional scenes if you succeed to make me feel for you then it means your acting was good and I believed you

Thank you 😊

It happened by chance😊, not intended and not expected but the credit goes to the people who initiated the discussion (Ammi, Mandy(MrDarcyFan), Ri(Avengers), and many other people...). It had funny and serious posts both which made it I guess pleasant to read but as I said the credit goes to all the members who were discussing, putting their input into posts and some of their funny comments.

@Mandy - Good to know that ur mom was a lecturer too...
And you are a banker, I know nothing about it , is it like financial advisor, sort of ?

Wow, so you were an AsYa fan, RuMya too... It was AsYa who caught my heart after ArShi... They were phenomenal.. Zoya was the character I could relate to for the first time in Indian television... Surbhi did a wonderful job there... About RuMya, it was a short term crush, waise bhi it's no more now...
PS: I know very late... I was in a family function when this Hungama was happening... So couldn't follow all the comments...😳
