there is a difference in being sonam's cousin vs priyanka's cousin

sonam was born with a silver spoon..her dad anil..her chachu boney..her chachi sridevi..being sonam's cousin means knowing these people right when you were young

where as PC is a self made achiever and being her cousin means living a very normal life for most of your teens..coz PC wasn't in showbiz then..

there is a lot of difference

Priyanka did not help her much in her career
Possible people only knew her as Priyanka's sister
But she had to struggle on her own and get noticed
She was offered role from YRF after she worked with them

The difference primarily lays in the fact that Sonam and Ranveer weren't close while Priyanka and Parineeti are cousin sisters.

Priyanka does her upmost to help her cousins so I think she helped Parineeti lay a foot in YRF in some capacity but indeed I don't think she could help that much more.

We only have to see how her other cousins were launched to see her pull.

i really have no idea how close sonam and ranveer were. The TM mentioned cousins so i assumed that. Well if that be the case then yeah cannot attribute any of ranveer's success to them

as for Priyanka

she couldn't help her other cousins get any decent movies

this one cousin had to star in a C grade erotica Zid

the least of all could have been a decent banner launching them

so i do believe that more than PC..pari made it coz she herself was working for YRF in marketing and always had the acting chops to impress them with a kick ass audition

I think it's a mix of both again.
She landed her job at YRF in marketing after having a degree in finance. She came to the YRF office to visit PC who was filming some movie with them at the time. There's an interview about this, I'm not 100% sure but I think it is look who's talking with Niranjan.
By landing this job ofc she started making connections because she managed stars! People like Rani told her you should become an actress. (This is to Pari's own credit)

Maneesh thought she can debut in his movie and convinced Adi C to take her.
How I see her case is somewhere in the middle. Insider enough to step foot in the industry, but not a BW Khaandan kid.

Pari is an outsider.

She has more talent in her little finger than Alia. But see where she is now and where Alia is. Aloo is talented and hardworking, but the opportunities she got made the difference, not her talent. Pari is equally if not more talented, but lack of opportunities and bad choices sunk her.
