I'm not too worried about the low TRP ( 1.0). I feel the CVs have taken a note of that and changed the morose plot to a happywala Masti track. As a result Chandni's character has done a 180, which is also fine ... Cos we were never too vested in Chandni's reclusive character to feel a loss ... This is not a character assassination, it's just a build up ... She was traumatized but she has a smart , jovial core which is being peeled off slowly ( just for the sake of argument ) ... So far so good ...
Now Advay ... A fabulous character ... Barun is the best there is ... He can't do anything wrong in my eyes ... brilliant man ... BUT PUHLEEESE for Mahadev's sake ...give this man some decent pants .. Barun has the best physique amongst all the male stars ( not to mention the admirable Gluteus š³ ) ...why on earth is he still wearing those clown pants ? It's not the beard that needed shedding, it's those hideous pants ..well, I like the shaven look too ... But I just can't get past those horrendous pants ... Those MC Hammer pants might be fashion of the day but Advay doesn't care for fashion ... He is a an unkempt mathematical genius who should be wearing plumber jeans which shows the ... Okay , I better stop here š
As for the story arc ... It's a bit illogical to think that 14 yr old Advay was in love with Chandni ... It may help to show some Flashback with his obsession over this girl ( for revenge, not love sick wala ) and him wondering about what happened to her , what does she look like now etc etc .. Sort of a Mobydick mentality where the obsessed hunter becomes soul and directionless without his prey ... I'm sure CVs can come up with a logical way of showing that ..
Please tone down with the rabba ve ... Everytime we accept this is different show and different couple Gul seems to reminds us ...nope, I'm still trying to milk the old one ... It's counter productive to unnecessarily play the old tune and quite frankly sabotaging the acting and creative effort of the new team, we like the new team not because of the old tunes but despite the old tunes ... Slowly wean off the old tunes and introduce some new ones please
The show is going good ... It's intense, funny, intelligent ... Better than all the run of the mill love stories out there ... Hang in there .. This is going to be a fun ride.
