'Marriage NOT on cards right now': Eisha Singh on 'Shukriyaa' with Avinash Mishra becoming her WEDDING ANTHEM

Eisha Singh is currently soaking in the love coming her way for her latest song Shukriyaa. In a recent chat with India Forums, she, along with Avinash Mishra, spoke in detail about the track and the experience of bringing it to life.

Since Shukriyaa is set against a wedding backdrop, Eisha was asked whether she sees it becoming her own wedding anthem someday. Responding to this, she made it clear that marriage is not on her mind right now and chose to focus instead on her hopes for the song. She said, “I really want this song to do well and become an anthem too. I don’t know about my wedding because marriage is not on the cards right now, so I can’t comment on that. But I really like the song and I want people who are close to me, or anyone who is getting married, to play it. Especially my favorite line, ‘Ram Ram Jain Raja Ram’ from the trailer, I think that’s beautiful.”

I really want this song to do well and become an anthem too. I don’t know about my wedding because marriage is not on the cards right now, so I can’t comment on that. But I really like the song and I want people who are close to me, or anyone who is getting married, to play it. Earlier, while talking about what went on behind the scenes during the onscreen ‘Avisha’ wedding sequence, Eisha shared a rather relatable moment from the shoot. ''What went behind the scenes, I think it was 6 a.m. call time and I was annoyed because my lehenga was poking me. In that moment, I just wanted to do the scene and I think it turned out to be very beautiful. My face is not giving away the fact that the lehenga was poking me. And I think it was very well shot, very aesthetically shot. But yeah, I think it was nice and it was fun.''

The song is very nice. The moment I heard it, my first reaction was, I want to do this because the production is so good. And then the song was so good. It's sung by these amazing singers and then my co-star was Avinash, so I had all the reasons to say yes.''
