A poor young girl walked up the pathway to a huge mansion she was hoping to get a job here as a maid she was a tall strikingly beautiful girl, twenty-two years old she had completed college both Bachelors and Masters in accounts and business management but because she is an orphan who lived all her life in an orphanage jobs were not easy to come by. The old story of who you know or what are you willing to do in order to get a job. So all that was left was to become a maid and hope that her luck would change one day.
The girl knocked at the main door and a handsome young man opened the door "namaste sir my name is Aarti Sharma I am here for the job of a maid"
The young man looked at her "come inside and meet my ma" he led her in "Ma this is Miss Aarti Sharma for the job of the maid"
"Aarti Sharma good to meet you the agency said you are a very good worker but you only did part time jobs why?"
"Madam I was attending college on scholarship so I worked to earn money for my keep"
"College you are a graduate?" asked the young man "What did you study?"
"Sir accounts and business management"
"Did you not apply to various companies for a job?"
"Yes sir I did but I am a poor orphan jobs went to those with connections or who was willing to co operate with the boss"
Mother and son exchanged looks "Aarti you are hired I am Radha Scindhia and this is my son Akash I have three other sons Pankaj the eldest he is a lawyer, Yash he is an economist and the CEO of our family's business, Akash here is an IT specialist and Prateek he wants to be a famous chef much to his fathers disgust. I have one bahu Vidhi she is pregnant with the first grandchild so she is resting in her room now. I want you to live here will that be a problem?"
"No madam I can move in"
Radha continued "can you cook?"
"I am not good at it" replied Aarti
"No problem you will learn I want you to help Vidhi with the cooking we have more servants who clean the house. The grocery shopping will be done by you on a weekly basis but every morning you will go to the market for fresh fruit and vegetables."
