My boy came back today after 5 years but my eyes were glued to Chandu. The pain in her eyes, her inner turmoil seeing her Dad's state and even the intro scene where she is carefree just for a minute were all fabulously portrayed by Shivani.
The longing she has for Dev and the strength she derives from his memories and words sets the stage for some awesome angsty romance.
All hail GUL! She is the Queen of casting.
I am so happy today. Let's be real! All of us had our reservations about Shivani. And for the show to have put all those to rest right in the pilot is a gift to us all.
