Deepika Padukone's xXx 3 beats Priyanka Chopra's Baywatch at US BO

Deepika Padukone is giving PeeCee a tough competition even in Hollywood.😆 Deepika's maiden Hollywood film xXx: Return of Xander Cage, released in January this year, grossed more in its first three days in the US than Priyanka Chopra's Baywatch which was released last Friday.

Deepika Padukone's Hollywood debut, which had Vin Diesel in a lead role, was panned by critics. However, the film was a box-office success. As of now, the film has grossed USD 300 million worldwide.

Priyanka's Baywatch, which stars Dwayne The Rock Johnson and Zack Efron in the lead roles, is the big-screen adaptation of the 90s television series of the same name. Baywatch too received a thumbs down from critics in the West. While Priyanka's performance was praised unanimously, it remains to be seen how Baywatch, her Hollywood debut, is received in India. Baywatch hits the screens in India tomorrow.

The R-rated comedy only managed to collect USD 18 million on its first three days in the US. The numbers are quite low for such an over-hyped film. Deepika's xXx: Return of Xander Cage grabbed a whopping USD 20 million in its first three days.😆
