That's really admirable, I hope his vision doesn't worsen. It's such an awful thing to have happened. Btw, He is so attractive, like a refined, cultured and educated version of ARK. I was randomly watching his segment for Asian paints and his house is gorgeous, he has to be mad rich.

His right eye got damaged in a car accident in 1961 but he started playing again 6 months later

He found it easiest to play with his cap pulled down over his damaged right eye.

I had no idea about his eyes. Is it since birth or did he meet with an accident in between?

Rana had an accident as a child and lost his vision in one eye. He got a donor eye for cosmetic reasons.

Of course, he is rich. He comes from the Daggubati family. His grandfather was the veteran telugu fim producer RamaNaidu. Incidentally that is Rana'a actual name too. He is named after his grandfather :) He changed it to RaNa to be more modern 😆 . His dad continues running the fim business now and they own most theaters and studios in AP and Telangana. Also, Venkatesh is his uncle ( father's brother).
