Myra was flabbergasted. A day out with Mohit Seghal and Sanaya Irani- MoNaya. It took her a minute to digest what her director of Bolly Curry had instructed her. She was visiting Nach Baliye sets to interview MoNaya and write an article for India-Forums. Her first individual assignment with Mohit-Sanaya and that too on her birthday, life couldn't have got any better.She wished the day would come soon enough and when the interview day arrived, Myra felt a mixture of nervousness and excitement. Nervous because she would be all alone on her first assignment and excited because she was about to have a fan-girl moment. And of course it was her birthday too, so naturally she was extra excited.
She had taken particular care regarding her dressing that morning; had to look like a motivated employee of Bolly Curry. Recorder, check. Batteries, check. Notepad, check. Mouth freshener, check. Body spray, check, Myra thought to herself. The distance to the Nach Baliye sets was surprisingly short. She felt as if she had reached way too early when she saw a sweeper making his way out of the sets. "Well, I could wait", she mumbled. And she decided to take a seat on one of the sofas that were lying at the back of the set. Waiting around, Myra didn't realize when she dozed off - her sleep was cut short she was suddenly jerked up by the deep voice of a man."Are you from India-Forums Bolly Curry?" Even with half open eyes Myra could make out that this man was none other than Mohit Seghal himself. Standing beside him was his ever beautiful wife - Sanaya Irani. Myra was speechless for a moment. Mr. and Mrs. Seghal weren't surprised at her being dumb-founded because it was a common sight for them."You are Myra from Bolly Curry, right?" This time it was Sanaya who questioned and Myra barely uttered, "Yes, I am Myra and I am glad to be given an opportunity to spend a day with such a gorgeous couple". "Oh, are you trying to butter us before the interview?" Mohit asked teasingly and Myra couldn't help but blush.
Nach Baliye set was a frenzy. MoNaya led the way to their practice rooms amidst a crowd of participants, make-up artists and choreographers. Myra even spotted DiVek on her way to the rooms. MoNaya were practicing for their debut performance on Nach Baliye. Lifts and jumps and vivid instructions from their choreographer, their practice was indeed a tough one."So, what motivated you both to join this year's NB?", Myra asked in between."Well, it was a mutual decision," replied Sanaya. "I love dancing and I love Mohit too, so we both decided let's do this for us and for our fans."Myra's questioning session continued throughout the rehearsals and lunch break as she began finding out about the key challenges they had experienced so far, the highs and lows, their future expectations and what they wish to take away from this journey. Before they knew it, it was time for them to shoot for the episode. Backstage, Myra could sense their nervousness and tried to cheer them up, "Relax and focus on each other only, you both can do this, just think you are doing this for your fans like myself." And this indeed helped them for they received much praises from Sonakshi for their performance.
It was a dream come true for Myra to see her favourites performing live in-front of her. She thought she was the one who clapped the hardest and hooted the loudest for them. She had almost forgotten that it was her birthday too, and was ready to say farewells when she saw Mohit pushing a trolley with a cake on it. Had it not been for Sanaya to hold her tight, she might have fainted with the overwhelming ecstasy. "We knew it was your birthday today, your friends from India-Forums had especially phoned us to tell us. So we decided a small surprise for you. We hope you like it!", said Sanaya. "I love it, this will remain the best day of my life!""Happy Birthday Myra!", shouted Mohit and Sanaya.
