JNDSD~My take~Wednesday 5.4.17~ to be on a bed of nails !
It's the hard and horny area at the end of fingers and toes of humans, and primates. Referred to as nail in humans, and claws in birds, mammals or reptiles. A nail is also a sharp thin rod of metal with a round flat surface used in masonry and wood to fasten, secure pieces in joinery. There are many popular idioms connected to the word nail. i.e to nail, last nail in the coffin ,nail biting, fight nail and claw..to mention but a few. The title came to mind while watching the episode today after seeing images related to a nail..Ravish's scratch on the arm and the tiger's claw in the end pretty nail biting stuff!
Romance is in the air! their eyes and their manner. The dcor, the fragrance and flicker of the scented candles all transmit dulcet notes of depart not from heart. For Vividha and Atharv it is like going back to their cowshed days. She may be dressed as the bride, but the mischief of naughty love within her always.. when Atharv was around, still remains with her. Atharv comes closer and Vividha goes backwards! gives him the chase! She escapes giggling and he gives her the chase! Ends in her tripping and slipping into his arms. Passion creeps up in both. Results in an intimate embrace. His lips brush against hers, and her giggles change into a crimson hot flush. Passion becomes infectious between the two as she melts under his tender touch. An obvious creaking sounds. Vividha panics as the window taps as if something was out there in the darkness .Atharv besotted both by her beauty and nearness, jests it's the wind. Vividha wants it shut just to be on the safe side. Atharv, slightly put out! closes the window, heads back and resumes where he left off. This life feels like a bed of rose! fortune smiles at this night. With just the two of them, this room in the middle of the jungle. Confirmation nothing can go wrong now their love has won!
Guddi too smiles at Ravish's picture. she recalls she always fancied him. He catches her by surprise! by turning up before her.Tenderly she feels his stubble face, embraces him. Ravish succumbs too, senses Guddi's feelings towards him all the more when his arms enclose around the small of her back. She awakens from her reverie.. even unrequited love gives pleasure..
Fulfilled love begins to celebrate victory. Atharv looks across at Vividha as they sit on the side of their bed of roses. The time to declare their love and longing is now! With his pincer grip Atharv one by one removes her pieces of jewellery. They are interference now. For the ornament she needs now is his love ,that which sums up all his whole being. Bashfulness grips Vividha.. so this is sweet ,coy pleasure of one's nuptial night. The first time they knew each other, was nothing like this, in fact both cannot even recall. Both had foggy recollections..Vividha inclines willingly into his arms, pushes their past back in the inner recesses of her mind. The night of their bed of roses indicates it might turn into a bed of nails! Where he'll find expressing his love and receiving hers quite a hard task to achieve... soon
The roar and eye of the tiger outside their temporary love nest is a symbol of an unresolved issue that still lurks about and scans every action these once lovers now husband and wife undertake. Is the tiger than a replacement of KK the mummy man? Or is the tiger a symbol of unbridled passions of the heart ,mind and soul of both Atharv and Vividha? But one thing is for sure its presence creates fear in both and with it comes the need to hang onto each other. Every roar, growl and prowl whether in the house or outsides creates in Vividha the desire to cling to her husband. To Atharv it gives bravado , and rising to his expectations to protect his wife and face every peril..possibly to avert the tigers savage desire.. Vividha rightfully panics and moans at Atharv for bringing her to such a venue of horror and mysteries all because he wants cheap thrills! And that he always makes a field day of activities lined up to frighten the day lights out of her! This wedding night getaway is turning into bed of nails! Trust her husband's sense of humour. Hush Vividha.. what's there to fear ,when Atharv is there!
The sobbing patient .. guest in Ravish's house is one who becomes the reason for Guddi and Ravish to interact. Ravish arm ends up being scratched by this strange distressed girl. Her vicious nails leave furrows of her empathic message of help! and to stop attacking her!! delirious bride! Both Guddi and Ravish are puzzled by the injured girls reaction. Guddi offers Ravish warm bedtime milk .. healing ointment for the scratch caused by the girls nails. For Ravish it's like lying on a bed of nails..when he has to hear Guddi once again disapprove of his giving this crying runaway bride refuge. He reminds Guddi the woman clearly is the victim of some forced marriage demand.. or violent domestic abuse? Her scratches stir within Ravish the urge to support her and once she is well enough to explain her situation she is free to leave ,but he will support her like he would any other victim. Guddi is not the least bit surprised at Ravishs sense of empathy for any one in a crisis situation... this is the way he is, willing to serve ,rather than be served..
This tiger now in the house! gets the better of one ardent husband and his rather irate wife , Atharv calms Vividha the last of his expectations too was to come across some carnivore animal in the farmhouse. The tiger gives them the chase right into the bathroom! With a possible way of escape via the window! The tiger claw thumps at the bolted bathroom door! It's claws scratch at the door.. Atharv is duty bound to protect his wife.. a full to the brim bathtub with rose petals! Would this be a way of respite to turn his bed of nails into a wet bed of roses? The tiger claw pounds louder at the door! The door latch vibrates.. and vividha ends up in the bathtub! with Atharv following suit!! their eyelids flutter then hood under water... bubble! bubble... tiger or no tiger.. depart not from my heart. Thriller episode.. two questions who is the runaway bride? and the tiger is it more than a human sized stuffed toy?was up till a point purposeful in the episode. Motivating closeness between the newly married couple. Makes me wonder was this another one of the grooms pranks? Incidentally the tiger theme , probably the same prop was used in another starplus show only recently...
