I don't know about biases but they all have very different sensibilities, so that's probably why you see very different responses from them. Reviewers like Anupama Chopra, Rajeev Masand, raja sen and Baradwaj Rangan are very Hollywoodized...especially Raja Sen. So I feel like they enjoy movies with more western sensibilities, where emotions are more subtle, and there is more subtext to the scenes. Basically the multiplex movies. At the opposite end of the spectrum are KRK, Taran Adarsh and Komal Nahata who enjoy traditional Indian tropes, and movies targeted to mass audiences. So I think it's just a different taste in movies and what they grew up watching.

I only watch KRK'S reviews... So 4.5/5 for KRK

but I have seen in the past Rajeev Masand being biased towards Ranbir... Komal nahta and Taran adarsh.. giving stupid movies 4 or 5 stars... So I skip everyone else's reviews...

Can't stand Saibal, wish he'd throw in the towel like Mihir Fadnavis. Shubra is harsh but consistent. I think Deepanjana, Anna V, Sudish, Raja (post ADHM, don't really know) are usually worth a read even if they aren't a good predictive factor if I'll enjoy a movie & get carried away with what they wanted the movie to be.

Masand is a complete sell out. Mayank is okay. Khalid has crotchety old man syndrome and needs to be sent out to pasture. Rangan is really the only decent critic IMO.

Oh plus I actually think Pinkvilla does better reviews than most "reputable" outlets

Only watch Sucharita's reviews now.

Why do fans jump and scream with joy when raja sen gives 4*, 5* or even 3.5* to someone they like if he is not liked on the forum 😉😆

I would rank Rajeeve Masand and Khalid Mohammad lower. The few films Khalid has made show he isn't a great filmmaker to be judging others. And he plays favorite to insiders big time like with Sonam.
