Nope. Not Helping. I STILL CAN'T GET OVER THE BEAUTY THAT WAS TODAY!! Okay. Trying for some control now. Lets begin.
Naina and Karan. Karan and Naina. Two people, bound together by destiny. Fate works in mysterious ways. But whatever happens, happens for the good. And today, when secrets tumble out, you find out that it is the truth. ❤️
Firstly, Naina is such a smart person. She knows what to do when. How fiercely did she defend her Di and shut Sandhya up today. I love that about her. She knows what to do when. She also showed it in a number of other ways in the episode. I could say more but I am eager to get to the NaiRan part so please forgive me. Each and every scene of theirs today was worth writing essays over.
So Karan is hurt and is putting ointment on his wounds. Naina comes in and tries to open his drawers. He stops her. He is about to trip and she is about to touch him but she stops because he doesn't want it. Naina finally has had enough with this. She lashes out at him. She says she was only trying to help and she doesn't understand if he is like this with everybody or only hates her. Then comes the punch line. She says, "Mujhe samajh nahi aata ki tum mujhe aise kyun treat karte ho jaise main koi achoot hoon." THIS. Unknowingly, Naina hit upon the truth of Karan's life. And Karan's face. His expressions were a mix of surprise, hurt and something which I just can't define. Samridh Bawa you are a gem. I will say this a lot of times today so please bear with me. Naina just apologized for saying it and moved away but Karan was still looking at her. And thought that he can't tell her anything. His expressions throughout this were simply so heartbreaking that I can't even do justice to them. You can only see.
Karan is trying to put antiseptic but it is hurting him. Naina can't take it anymore and goes close to him and blows at his wound. And Karan gets relief and looks almost... contended. It was such a blissful moment!
No words for NK blaming everything on Karan. Karan didn't even look surprised. His expression was just like yes yes I know say something else. Such a blot on the name of fatherhood NK is. But not wasting time on him. We have so much better to talk about. Naina looked very upset during the entire thing though.
Then we had such a cute nok jhok scene where Naina sent them both to the market. She said Karan was busy and he said he wasn't so Meghna asked them to go. Karan was so mad. "Hint nahi de sakti thi" "Diya to tha" "Tumahre hints tumhari tarah hi confusing hain." Aww. Babies are so cute!!
Now we reach the market place. Naina trying to tell him Ramayan stories to get him to apologise to Kunal, trying to get him excited about colors was all so cute. Karan was least interested. In this process she found out about him never having played Holi. She was so surprised.
AND FINALLY. We come to THE scene. Naina is trying to get bamboo sticks for Holika and trips. Karan almost holds out a hand and then stops. She gets up and asks him why he didn't hold her. He gets angry and says that she is doing all this deliberately but he will never hold her. Naina just looks at him and says "Abhi to ye keh rahe ho, par kabhi agar mera haat pakadna pad gaya to?" He is has no answer and he walks away. Naina drops the sticks and they start falling on her. Karan turns and sees. And shouts "Naina!!" He rushes towards her, holds her hand, pulls her away, pulls her into his arms, covers her and protects her, taking a few hits in the process. Can we all take a moment here. KARAN did all this. The one person who doesn't touch her or anyone, who said he will never hold her, held her tight. It was a beautiful beautiful scene! You just have to see, words can't do justice to it. ❤️
The brilliance didn't stop there. Karan has got really hurt and colors are aggravating his allergy. But he is only concerned about Naina. He mumbles out all his problems in his panic. "Naina, Naina ko chu liya maine, kahin usse bhi to ye nahi ho jayega. Issiliye main tumse shaadi nahi karna chahta tha, issiliye main holi nahi khelta, Naina aankhen kholo tumhe kuch nahi hoga." And Naina hears everything. Every single word. And she finally understands. Karan lifts her up using a cloth and is still panicking. She gets up and looks at his umbrella. And gives it to him. THIS. This was such a poignant moment! She remembers all the times she has made fun of him, realizing that all he wanted to do was protect her because he doesn't want her to get any allergy. And she apologises. Karan is taking aback. She says its because he had to break his promise of not touching her. What a beautiful moment!! Naina was looking at him with so much understanding and respect. For him, for his reasons, for his concern for her. It was truly a defining moment for them.
At home, NK again wants to blame Karan but Naina will have none of it. She stood like a wall and told the truth about what happened. Though Nk wasn't impressed, Karan I think slightly was. This is only the beginning Karan!
Precap is so exciting. Naina's plans are going to backfire because of some unknown person. It will be heartbreaking!
