It's morning
Ruhi was sitting beside a sleeping Raman with her elbows on her knees and hands bent cupping her cheeks, looking cutest as ever. She was just waiting for Raman to wake up but since last night was one of the peaceful nights he had ever have, he was sleeping with a serene smile on his face. Out of boredom, Ruhi let out an audible sigh. After waiting for some more minutes, without any options left, she started shaking Raman vigorously saying
Ru: papa utho, utho jaldi papa
R: (waking up in a jiffy) huh kya hua?
Ru: (with a cute pout) papa bahut badi problem ho gayi
R: (cupping her face - still sleepy) kya hua Ruhi
Ru: (jumping and sitting on his lap) papa mai bahut badi problem mein hoon
R: meri princess ko kya problem hai. School mein koi pareshaan kar raha hai kya
Ru: nahi papa usse bhi badi problem
R: kya
Ru: papa mummy ne bola ki mujhe hair cut karana hoga
R: toh ismein problem kya hai.. abhi kara lo haircut.. phir baad mein baal badh jaenge
Ru: lekin papa usme kitna time lagega... Tab tak mere baal chhotu rahenge
R: phir badh bhi toh jaenge
Ru: lekin papa... Tab tak toh sab koi mujhe tease karega... Boy cut bolega
R: (confused) toh ismein mai kya Karu
Ru: papa aap mummy ko samjhao Na ki mujhe haircut nahi karana
R: lekin Ruhi mai Ishita se kya bole. Woh meri baat thodi Na sunegi
Ru: sunegi papa.. mummy ne bola ki agar aapne unko convi... Convi...
R: convince
Ru: haan wahi, wo kar liya toh mera haircut nahi hoga
R: Ishita ne aisa kaha
Ruhi nodded making her pony move up and down and look as cute as ever. Raman smiled at her antics and kissed her forehead while his mind was thinking
R: ( in his mind) yeh madrasan k dimaag mein chal kya raha hai. Mai kyu convince Karu usko. Na beta Raman yeh baat jitni seedhi dikh rahi hai utni hai nahi.
Ruhi said breaking his thoughts
Ru: papa kya soch rahe ho
R: beta mai soch raha hoon ki aapki mummy ko convince Karu Kaise.. mummy ko awaaz do toh Zara
Ruhi screamed.
"Mummy, mummy jaldi aao, jaldi"
Ishita came with full attitude. Seeing her expression, Raman got fully sure that there was something more in it.
R: Ishita yeh sab kya chal raha hai.
I: (pretending to be absolutely innocent) kya hua Raman
R: Ruhi ko haircut
I: (cutting him in between) haan toh Raman ab aap he dekho Na kitne split ends hai. Haircut toh karana hoga.
Ru: lekin Mummy mujhe haircut nahi karana. Please please. Aap Jo bologe mai karugi
R: Ishita sharm karo bachhi se baat manwa ne k liye kya kar rahi ho.
I: oho Raman aapko kuch nahi pata (looking at Ruhi again) haan toh aap kya keh rahi thi Ms. Bhalla.
Ru: Mummy aap Jo bologe mai karugi lekin mujhe haircut nahi karana please
I: mai Jo kahu?
Ru: kuch bhi
I: idhar aao
Ruhi climbed on Ishita's lap from Raman's.
I: (whispering in Ruhi's ears) aapko, abhi papa ko wo baat batani hogi Jo aap Shravu se aaj subah keh rahe the
Ru: (confused - whispering) kaunsi baat Mummy
I: wahi ki aapke papa aapke saath kya karte hai
Ruhi got shocked and then nervous.
All this while, Raman was silently and confusingly observing both.
Ru: (whispering to Ishita) lekin Mummy papa ko bura lagega
I: nahi lagega
Ruhi looked towards Raman. He, through his eyes asked Ruhi "What's the matter". She again climbed to his lap from Ishita's. She said
Ru: papa agar mai aapko kuch bataungi toh aapko bura nahi lagega na.
R: Ruhi ki kisi bhi baat se papa ko bura lag sakta hai kya
Ru: lekin is baar toh...
R: Ruhi Jo bhi hai bol do. Papa kuch nahi bologe
Ruhi looked towards Ishita. She said her to go on.
Ru: aaj mai jab Shravu k saath khel rahi thi na toh woh mujhe bata raha tha Kaise bala periappa uske saath khelte hai. Usne mujhse bhi puchha ki mere papa mere saath kya kya khelte hai...
R: toh?
Ru: toh maine usko bataya ki mere papa mere saath khelte nahi hai. Woh mujhse hamesha gussa rehte hai or mujhe scold bhi karte hai.
Raman got shocked and his eyes became teary. Ruhi goes on
Ru: us din aapne mujhpe chillaya tha na. Mujhe bilkul achha nahi laga. Or aap hamesha mujhse gussa rehte the or mujhse baat bhi nahi karte the toh mujhe lagne laga ki aap mujhse Pyaar nahi karte. Maine mummy ko bhi bataya tha toh unhone bola ki aap office k liye ten ten...
I: tension
Ru: haan wahi ho isliye aisa kar rahe ho lekin phir bhi aap mujhse gussa rehte the toh maine aaj Shravu ko bata diya. Sorry papa
Ruhi held her ears and looked towards Raman only to see him teary looking at her. Ruhi rose up a bit and spoke wiping his tears.
Ru: papa aapko bura laga na..
R: nahi beta. I am very sorry. Maine aapke saath kitna galat kiya. I am very sorry.
Ru: nahi papa aap sorry mat bolo. Pata hai maine Shravu ko kal raat waali baat bhi bata di.
R: kal raat ki kaunsi baat
Ru: ki kal jab aapne mere ko itni saari Huggies or itni kissy di (stretching her hands to infinity) to mujhe samajh aa gaya tha ki aap mujhse bahut Pyaar karte ho. Or sachme office k liye tension mein ho. Sorry papa (she said again holding her ears)
R: nahi beta aap sorry mat bolo. Mai aapse promise karta hoon ki aaj k baad mai aapke upar kabhi nahi chilaunga
Ru: sachii papa
R: muchi
Ru: promise
R: Ruhi promise
Ru: thank you papa. I love you.
Both hugged each other and kissed each other's forehead and cheeks, where Ruhi asked him to shave his beard, Ishita looked on then breaking the father daughter duo moment, she said
I: ab haircut ka kya hua
Ru: Mummy ab toh maine papa ko sab Kuch bata diya. Or unko bura bhi nahi laga. Toh ab haircut
IshRaRu in unison screamed "Cancel" and then laughed whole heartily. Then Ishita said
I: Rooh ab kya saara din papa k pass Aise he baithna hai, school nahi jaana?
Ru: jaana hai Na woh bhi long hair lekar.
I: toh chalo jaldi se brush karte hai.
Ru: chalo.
Ruhi got up and started walking while Ishita followed her after saying Raman to freshen up when Raman stopped her.
R: Ruhi aap jao Mummy do min mein aa jaegi.
Sensing that Raman wants to talk to her, Ishita said
I: Rooh aap Jakar ek baar apna bag check kar lo.
Ru: OK
Saying this she ran. While Ishita sat on the bed next to Raman. The moment she say, Raman opened his mouth to say a thanks when Ishita said
I: Raman abhi please thanks mat kehna.
R: (shocked) huh? Tumhe Kaise pata
I: kyuki kal se aap yahi toh bol rahe ho.
R: lekin Ishita
I: isse pehle aap puchhoge, mai batati hoon. Aaj jab Shravu or Ruhi khel rahe the toh maine unki baatein suni. Mujhe samajh aa gaya tha ki kal k baad bhi Ruhi aapke saath Puri tarah se free nahi hui hai. Usne ek dewaar khadi kar di thi apne or apne papa k beech mein. Toh uss dewaar ko hatane k liye maine use kiya Ruhi ki sabse dear cheez... Uske baal.. and the rest is history
R: madrasan tu jitni seedhi dikhti hai utni hai nahi.
I: thank you. Ab mai jau. Ruhi wait kar rahi hogi.
Ishita got up and started walking towards the door when Raman said
R: Ishita suno
I: (turning back) haan
R: thank you
I: Raman aap bhi na badloge nahi. Your welcome.
She went and then both busy in the morning chores.
The Bhalla clan was sitting in the hall. Ishita was sitting with Ruhi on her lap. She was feeding her while Raman was sitting beside them and involved in his own breakfast and talking with everyone. Mrs. Bhalla was also sitting with them and Mr. Bhalla was sitting on the nearby couch with his morning newspaper. That was when Ishita got a call...
I: (talking on the phone) haan swati bolo... Kya.. aadhe ghante mein... Lekin unki surgery toh kal shaam mein thi Na... Oho... Achha theek hai... Haan mai aa rahi hoon...
She disconnected the call and Ruhi asked
Ru: kya hua mummy?
I: bachha aapki mummy k patients pagal hai
Ru: matlab?
R: kya hua Ishita?
I: dekhiye Na kal shaam mein Jo surgery thi woh preponed ho gayi... Patient ko urgently aaj shaam ko America jana hai..
R: toh ab?
I: ab kya... (Looking towards Ruhi) Rooh aaj mummy aapko drop nahi kar paegi... (Kissing her forehead)
Ru: koi baat nahi mummy..
I: (getting up) papaji aaj aap please Ruhi ko school drop kar denge...
Mr.B: haan kyu nahi.. tu ja beta
I: thank you pa..
R: (cutting her in between) are Papa aap kyu jaoge, aaj Ruhi ko school mai drop kar dunga...
Ishita and Mr. Bhalla looked at him shocked while Mrs. Bhalla feels something fishy and Ruhi's face glowed up with a big smile.
Ru: sachhi papa
R: haan...
Ru: yeh... Aaj mai sabko apne Papa se milaugi...
I: Raman are you sure?
R: of course!
I: OK.. toh mai chalti hoon... Bye Rooh
Ru: bye
Ishita left while everyone resumed their breakfast. Mrs. Bhalla, taking the opportunity, said
Mrs. B: Raman aaj mennu apni ek farend (friend) se Milne jaana hai... Toh Ruhi ko school chhodh k mujhe bhi derop (drop) Kar dega...
R: haan theek hai... Toh chale Ruhi amma??
Ru: Ruhi amma nahi Ruhi baby?
Everyone laughed and then Mrs. Bhalla, Raman and Ruhi left.
After droping Ruhi, Raman said
R: maa aapko kahan jaana hai bata do mujhe office k liye bhi late ho raha hai...
Mrs. B: puttar mennu kisi farend (friend) k pass nahi jaana hai...
R: (stopping the car at roadside) kya?
Mrs. B: haan, darasal mennu tere waste gal Karni hai...
R: toh ma ghar pe bhi baat Kar sakte the Na...
Mrs. B: lekin ghar pe sab the.. mennu tere se akele mein galla karni thi Na... Bas do minute
R: achha bolo
Mrs. B: puttar kitne din se mai dekh rahi thi tere or Ruhi k beech ki dooriyan... Hun... Achanak ki hi gaya?
R: maa mere or Ruhi k beech sab kuch sort out ho gaya... Aapko khushi nahi hui kya?
Mrs. B: oye... Tu pagal ho gaya hai kya... Mujhse zyaada khush or kaun ho sakta hai... Mai to bas rab ji ko lakh lakh thank you bolti hoon...
R: maa agar aapko thank you bolna hai toh rab k saath saath apni bahu ko bhi kaho..
Mrs. B: uss madrasan ko??
R: haan... Ishita ki wajah se toh sab kuch hua hai... Mai samjhata hoon... (And he started)

At Khanna house
Ashok, Shagun and Adi were sitting on the dinning table having their breakfast. Ashok and Shagun were talking all nonsense whereas Adi was nowhere into it. He didn't want also. Then Ashok made a sign towards Shagun and she started
S: Adi beta tum kya apne hostel k friends ko miss nahi karte
A: nahi utna nahi
S: tum apne saare friends se kitne attached hoge... Unmein se koi Delhi mein nahi rehta kya?
A: haan Karan, Aly, Raj or Abhishek... Yeh sab rehte hai Delhi NCR mein..
As: Adi how about tum apne saare friends se mil k aao. Tumhare liye bhi change of environment ho jaega.
A: lekin...
S: wow Ashok that's a great plan. What say Adi?
A: lekin mujhe nahi jaana...
As: oho Adi it's been a long time ki tumne apne friends me saath hang out nahi kiya... So go and enjoy. Or tum ek gaadi bhi le jao... Driver ke saath...
A: (getting up - not so happy) OK!
Adi left. Ashok said
As: great ab mera plan shuru..
S: but Ashok yeh sab karna zaroori hai kya..
As: of course... Us Raman Bhalla ka naam kharab karne ka ek mauka mila hai or tum... Come on!
In Raman's car...
Mrs. B: kya? Itna kuch hua or tune mujhe kuch bataya he nahi...
R: maa mai aapse kya kehta... And thank God ki Maine aapse kuch nahi kaha warna pata nahi aap kya karti...
Mrs. B: Raman mujhe leke chal...
R: kahan?
Mrs. B: uss Shagun k ghar...
R: maa chhodho Na..
Mrs. B: nahi Raman please mujhe leke chal..
R: achha theek hai...
And Raman turned the car towards Ashok's house. When they reached Khanna Mansion, Raman parked the car and informed Mrs. Bhalla about the same and both came out and started walking towards the Mansion when Raman saw Tanuja's (the same TV reporter) car. He guessed something fishy is going on inside.
When both them went inside they saw (it's the same here as it was in the show. I am not going much deeper. It's the same Shagun interview) shocked the wits out of them. Shagun has come down to so low. They couldn't believe it.
Raman not able to tolerate any more, went inside and gave a tight slap to Ashok and said
R: (holding Ashok's cheeks tight) kya bol raha tha... Ruhi or Teri beti... Chee!!
A: Raman leave me...
R: Na beta Na... Itni asani se nahi... Tu is duniya ka sabse bada kamina... For obvious reasons... Lekin tujhe pata hai kya... Mai is duniya ka sabse bada gadha hoon... Jisne tujh jaise kaminey ki baat maan li...
S: Raman leave him. Use dard ho raha hai..
That was when Mrs. Bhalla turned Shagun and slapped her. Shagun was shocked.
Mrs. B: nalayak.. pata nahi kaun se bekaar mahurat mein maine socha ki tujhe apne ghar ki bahu banau.. tu Shagun nahi Apshagun hai...
S: just shut up.. and leave
R: listen meri mom se tameez se baat karo.. got it? Or tum (turning towards Tanuja ) agar life mein shanti chahti ho to in dono se dur rahi... Sachhi! Chalo maa!!
And they left. Before leaving, Raman said
"Shagun, thank you, thank you so much. Mujhe divorce dene k liye."
