@Mishkil, this not calling of husband's name and avoiding PDA of couple in front of elders is not a phenomena of Benaras alone. It is quite prevalent even in substantial number of urban households. It is taboo and even today it is "Aho" or "aji, sunte ho" that is quite common in most middle class homes. Even educated and progressive couples who may be calling each other by names in private, will hesitate to do it in presence of the elders. The scene is changing very slowly so it is quite understandable that it is prevalent in Shukl family.
I think Dadi does not know the context of Gauri calling out to Shiv and the PDA (it is certainly not a romantic clinch). Once Dadi knows the context, be sure she will "punish" them with a reward. Remember, when Shauri came back before the muhurat day and Shiv did not come in time for the muhurat, she "punished" them by getting them married again in Maharashtrian paddhat.

"Rangnaar" indeed is a positive sign but does not necessarily point to a HM. I think they will show Gauri managing very well to balance the kitchen duties and romancing with Shiv . How she does it will be quite interesting. Dekhte rahiye KDP.

Even my curiosity is peaking day by day thinking how Shiv will manage to whisk away his beloved Gauri to SWZ for HM. Can we speculate how SWZ trip will come into picture? To start with, here are few possibilities (some of which are already discussed by forum members):
