What is the definition of success to you?

In today's world one is considered successful if the person has got money. He/she must have own apartment and cars and luxurious lifestyle.

Some of these people are privileged ones and some have achieved by hard working and dedication.

But suppose if we consider a farmer in some rural area not with much technology and not enough capital harvesting crops and leading a peaceful but not solvent life.

So by the standard of living he is not supposed to be considered successful, right?

So what definition of success or successful to you?

I've been wondering what success is for a while. I've never attached with money though. I feel success is being able to achieve what you set out to achieve which makes the farmer equally successful as the person with money and material gain. But I'm still not sure because even though it seems like you could be a success, actually working for it and realising that for most people it doesn't happen is more the norm.
