So it's been years since I posted in this blessed forum but my love for this show was never gone.

I was recently watching old IPK episodes and reminiscing the good old days. Remember how much we all hated the post hate-marriage Khushi and her ridiculous antics to irritate Arnav? Looking back (literally) I realized how great those episodes were. Maybe it's just because I still miss the show so much or maybe we were way too invested in the show those days and was never in the moment to enjoy the episodes for what they were.

Anyway, those episodes were tender and heart breaking in a subtle way not many of us saw. Maybe not carrying the same brilliance as the legendary diwali episodes but still great!

Anyway if there are any more old forum wasis frequenting this lovely online portal, give a shoutout and let me know what y'all think 😃

I FEEL THE SAME TOO.

In fact now that I look back at any track in the show , even sheetal track , I feel and understand the importance of each track they showed.

Then I guess we did not approve of such tracks cause somewhere v knew that general people would not like it, affecting the TRP's and may be resulting in show shut down ( which v NEVER wanted) or PH was showing it just for the sake of showing something.

But now when I look back to all these tracks , I understand the meaning and importance of each one they showed.

I wonder if the so called shaatir dimaag arnav got even half this hate after he decided to be the judge,jury and executioner to khushi and punished her without ANY effort what so ever to know the complete truth...so what this post has manage to remind me is the fact that khushi was always bashed for the smallest and unnecessary of things...she was never accepted the way she was...taking revenge by irritating arnav was in her character and this was not even a big deal...she should have done a lot more...but we could not even tolerate her "irritating" arnav while arnav got away with everything...he was accepted the way he was without any criticism...he was even showered with praises and adjectives he didn't deserve.

This is all I have managed to remember after reading this post.

Post marriage track showed the strength of a woman who refused to shatter under the pressure of a powerful man. Written off irritating annoying even mindless ott acts khushi's antics were so much analogous to her motto of living in the moment in life. Why only Arnav, even her own family has disowned her, but she won them back, all of them, including Arnav by just being her. The crown winning answer to the question asked in the Mrs India contest sums up what Khushi is.

yeah!!

She went totally nuts and it used to annoy me endless. But now that show is over. And those moments are damn cringe worthy and yet I miss everything about the show.

I miss them...

Those tracks actually irritate us more while aired...

But,now these are heart warming,...

No one equals Khushi for her crazy antics...

First of all, it is amazing to see your post on this forum after AGES!

I used to enjoy your posts and discussion during the time when the show was on air.

Coming to the topic, I totally agree.

Those days, we would simply jump a little too soon into judging the characters as well as the storyline, and quite rightly and obviously so.

But now that the show is off-air and it is only Hotstar that saves the day through those old epis, I see sense in the insensitive tracks, too much love in the hate tracks, and way too much intensity even in the comic tracks.

So yeah, even now, when it's around 4 yrs that the show is over, IPK still continues to rule my mind a little too often, and makes me smile. 😳

To be very honest nothing ever irked me in IPK other than Sheetal Track. And the after contract Marriage Episodes Well I enjoyed them the most 😆 I found her antics cute and her actions were justified after what Arnav did to her. It was her revenge in her own Sanka Devi way.

Nevertheless, I miss the show and everything related to it. Sigh... 2011-12 you were Beautiful! ❤️
