I just don't understand one thing though. Arnav can be tough with Khushi, threaten her with not giving her a divorce, get angry with Naina's maasi for saying things to and about Khushi, get furious with Sasha etc.. but he can't say anything to his Di and Dadi making it clear that he will not tolerate any bad behaviour towards Khushi.

So while he may want her back and do everything he thinks should be done, and claims that he will not allow anyone else to interfere, he will not tell off or warn his own family.

You don't have to scream, yell or fight, but if you can't make it clear to your family what Khushi means to you and how he expects them to behave with her, then he is a self serving selfish man and a cowed. he wants to have his cake and eat it to. Khushi should also be by his side and he should not have to be tough with his precious Di and dado. So it is still about what he wants and how he wants it. His wife's respect is an irrelevant things.

Its easy to scream and tell off strangers cos they mean nothing to you, but it takes courage, commitment to your partner and love to stand up for them against your family. I don't see that in Arnav.

In fact Ratna is doing way more than Arnav is! She is the one who talked to them trying to pacify them. Arnav didn't say a word. And if Khushi is being brought back because ostensibly Arnav "loves" her and can't live without her, he has a strange way of showing it in the context of his family. They obviously come way above Khushi for him.
