i am very, very proud to be an indian and i am only invested in ADHM because of fawad... this does not mean i don't love my country and i am not angry about sunday's attack, but arts have NOTHING to do with politics.

if you want to question fawad.. question his acting...question his merit... he has absolutely nothing to do with what those terrorists did... to boycott ADHM over his nationality is irrational and emotional.

he is an actor... its his job to act and that he does very well.

Political fraternity is doing nothing as usual - the ones who can make a difference . Defense minister accepts lapses on border security and instead of going to fight on the border these people are planning to boycott a petty movie which has sweat , blood and money of so many indian people 🤔 Kya respose hai ...jawaab me apna hi huqsaan karo , apni hi movie /propert vandalize karo aur apne hi logon ko pareshaan karo .

Yet to see a logical answer that actually outlines the benefits of boycotting this film because of Fawad/Mahira in Raees/any Pakistani artist.

It's just a jingoistic move that has no real world implications for State-sponsored terrorism.

Shouldn't the government come up with a strategy that actually works? Why waste time on all this?

Even news channels are giving this issue air time because they know public sentiments are frayed. However, just because people feel passionately about something, it doesn't make it right.

The thing is, Fawad Khan has ALREADY got his PAYMENT.

I promised myself I wouldn't go into this argument on IF again, but just thought I would read to see if there were any real, productive reasons we should boycott films for having Pakistani artists. Nothing so far.

Months before the Uri attacks, ever since ADHM/ Shivaay clash was announced, there have been various attempts to pull down/ trash and bash ADHM by certain fan groups who dont like RK, Ash, Anu or Fawad.

while finding out , I also find that some of the anger has got to do with pakistani artists being silent on attacks in India and while they vehemently oppose ISIS and paris attacks which is understandable but boycotting ADHM wont be helpful
