What is Blue screen of death error?

freinds help me ..i am getting some blue screen of death error on my laptop what to do :( i sold my last laptop because it started out these blue screens regularly ...dont know what is causing these blue screen crashes ...any one related to computer help me out :) ithough i am using windows 7 but i had installed windows 98 on virtual machine software vmware is it the cause ?

You can go to command prompt and run a check disk. It will resolve the issue.

it is not big deal , format kar lo aur your lappy will be as good as new 

1. Contrary to poplular belief Apple laptops are not costly.
How many times will you keep on formatting your laptop. A good HW and SW is always better to have than buying multiple laptops/ formatting them n number of times.
