Seems like CVs are done with Lavnasur, and Ram seems to have already met his sons...

So, now what happens over the next one month or so??

Oh...and seems like CVs have finally accomplished it - questioning why Ramayan and not Sitayan!!

The show in a nutshell.

Based on the way they were showing Uttar Kand, I was actually hoping that they were back on track. Compared to the rest of the show, Uttar Kand had least number of distortions so far, but since yesterday they went back to their same old tricks.

Lavanasur was killed by Shatrughan, not Ram. This is a popularly known track. In any version you look, even if the story itself differs, the victory over Lavanasur was done by Shatrughan.

As the King of Ayodhya, Ram would not be leaving the kingdom every time an enemy challenges him. It was royal protocol to send the younger brothers or sons of the King before the King himself went to fight.

If the King went to fight before anyone else, it meant that he had no faith in any of his warriors, no faith in his sons or brothers.

That is why, when Luv Kush challenge Ayodhya in other versions, all the brothers first fight them, and only when they are all defeated does Ram go himself.

Moreover. Lavanasur lived in a kingdom, not a cave. His kingdom was Mathura (not the same Mathura of Kans) and after he was killed, Shatrughan became King of Mathura and shifted his home there. Even IF Lavanasur lived in a cave, it would be nowhere near Valmiki ashram as the ashram was in the outskirts of Ayodhya, and Mathura was miles away.

Ram sent Shatrughan to fight Lavansur, because he was the youngest of his brothers and the duty to fight a battle against any enemy challenging Ayodhya first fell to him. If he had been defeated, Lakshman would be sent, then Bharat, and only then Ram.

For SKR to send Ram, making him deny his brothers' request to fight Lavanasur, was not only a gross distortion but also against the royal protocol of that era.

They did this only to write some fictional story of Ram meeting his sons, but in the process they denied Shatrughan the victory of killing Lavanasur and becoming King of Mathura.

Another distortion, though minor -

Luv was not elder to Kush.

Kush was the elder son, and Luv the younger one. Not only Valmiki Ramayan, but all popular versions confirm this. I haven't yet come across a version where Luv is elder.

SKR needs to check their facts before shooting, at least the basic facts which everyone knows.

Janaki how can you call this minor distortion ?😆

They freaking changed the Ages of the sons😆 , its like saying Shatrughan was elder than Lakshman

And then show makers expect that all should sing only praises of this distorted mytho show

Compared to all the other distortions in the show, it's indeed a minor one. 😆

Beacuse as much as a story it was of lord Ram ( ramayan ) , it was also the story of Sita Ma ( Sitayan )

So in that respect , its Ok

Whats not OK at all is the sense in which SKR termed it to be Sitayan , that was a more of a feministic scene , praising Sita at the expense of Degrading Rama , which is not acceptable at all to me

Anyways , SKR is neither ramayan nor Sitayan and Certainly not POV of Sita , its fake cooked up Drama based story designed to please Fandoms of Actors for TRP sake , its got least respect for the Epic .

@bold Spot on!!! I had so much hopes for this show😭
