So I see there are a lot of moviebuffs around who are starving for good films from Bollywood. I have decided to do a series on some of the greatest South Indian movies... and some of them are really superior films, you would be surprised to know how good they are. Don't be fooled by the airing of dubbed versions of commercial masala Telugu/Tamil films on Hindi movie channels. The real good movies are never aired.
I am going to use this opportunity to share some great movies from the South, week by week. Every week I shall share one movie. Please try to watch it by the end of the week and please share your thoughts here.
I will try to give you the link of the movie and everything else, so all you have to do is click and watch. But also please drop a line or two after you watched the movie. You never know, that one comment from you may inspire others to watch it too. :)
The first movie of the series is Vaaranam Aayiram. It shows a father-son relationship through growing up, romance, tragedy, and adventure. One of the most brilliant movies I've seen of this genre. Please watch this movie and let me know your thoughts!
One thing you can trust me with: you will not regret spending time on the movie. You will love watching it. Probably watch it more than once too. The music will keep haunting you.
