Now, I will mention the shows in the order in which I watched them and got hooked. 😆
Sarabhai VS Sarabhai - Amazing Show!!! Used to watch it with my mom.
Kitani Mohabbat Hain ❤️ - I am never one to follow a show from the start till the end. I always lose interest when the leads get together. This was one of the very few shows where that didn't happen. Such a heart warming love story with no Saas-Bahu crap at any point. It did get ruined towards the end at which point I stopped watching the show but the ending was just ❤️ . Just goes to show that when the story finishes, just end it on a high and you'll end up make a memorable show! No need to drag it just because it is doing well.
Geet Hui Sabse Paraayi ( First 100-150 episodes)
I never thought I would watch the show considering how melodramatic the start was. I remember I saw a promo of this show while watching Star One where they showed Geet in Maan's Office and it was such a beautifully shot promo that I was compelled to see what the show was about. I guess Maan was one of the very first Hot-Angry-Young-Businees Tycoon type characters and became so popular that every other show started having such characters as their male leads. But I soon left the show when Maan's brother entered the show. Got too complicated for me !🥱
Dill Mill Gaye - ( Please read the description before you judge me [LOL )
I started watching the show pretty late when Jennifer and Karan Wahi were the leads. And then KSG re-entered the show and I really didn't understand what all the hype was about him. Then Shilpa entered and everyone went crazy. I got to know that she was the first Ridhhima so just out of curiosity I started watchimg DMG episodes from the start on youtube. It was such a wonderful show when it started! I couldn't believe they ruined it like that after 200 or so episodes. Each and every character was unique and adorable when the show started- Armaan, Riddhima, Anjali, Atul, Rahul, Muskaan ❤️ As soon as I saw these episodes, I left watching the current DMG which was airing on television as it was pure crap.
Dil Dosti Dance
I started watching it mainly because of the dance element. I love everything related to dance. All of the characters were bad actors which was understandable coz they were dancers not actors ( back then). Now I am sure they have improved. I initially liked Shakti-Amar as a jodi but gradually became a Swaron fan ( When the character of Sharon was played by Sneha Kapoor.. Man! What a lovely dancer she was) And Shantanu (Swayam) was one of the few actors in the show who could, well, ACT. Left it as soon as Sneha quit. Did watch a couple of episodes here and there.
Suvreen Guggal- Topper of the Year
Channel V had some really nice shows back then. This show created a very realistic, heartwarming environment with characters that you will love. I personally connected with the female lead a lot. Usually shows get ruined when they take a leap but this one just got better.
Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon
Never have I found a show like this and never will I. As I said earlier I am someone who loses interest very very easily but this is the only show that I followed from the start till the end without missing a single episode. I didn't watch it for Barun or Sanaya because i knew neither of them much. I saw this one scene on television where the background music 'Rabba Ve' was played for the very first time and really liked it. Caught up with the initial episodes on youtube and religiously followed the show on tv for 1 and a half years. This is also the show that introduced me to India-Forums ( You can guess that from my username 😆 ) which is probably why I love it a lot more coz I got to know what Fan Fictions are ( I really lived in some other world 😆 ), got to discuss about it with other people, got to write and got to stalk every single Interview of the leads 😆
Qubool Hain ( Initial 100-150 episodes)
Started watching it because I liked KSG as Dr Armaan on DMG ( Stop judging me. Now I don't like him at all 😆 ). I should say that this show was very close to me because I have never had so much fun on any other forum before. I found my Best friend there and a lot of other lovely people, engaged in Fanwars, bitching, gossiping and also got Warning PMs from Mods. 😆 I left the show after Billi was made the lead. It became intolerable!
Sadda Haq ( initial 150-200 episodes or so)
Loved the promos! Since I belong to an engineering background, the concept of a girl in a man's world ( Mechanical Engineering) attracted me a lot. The show was fabulous. It stuck to the theme as much as it could without swaying towards mindless tracks. The romance also was kept at bay since the show wasn't about that. I should mention here that I am just talking about the parts of the show that I watched. Loved Sanyukta-Randhir together.. More because those two were a bomb offscreen ❤️ As usual I left the show as soon as Sanyukta and Randhir became a couple 😆
Kaisi yeh yaariyaan ( Initial 100-120 episodes)
I started watching this show a 4-5 months after it was launched. It brought back Star One memories back to me coz that channel used to air only youth shows. Loved Manik and Nandini. I didn't really care much about the other characters. Couldn't stand most of them. At present, I can stand none of them.
Yeh Hain Mohabbatein
Never followed the show on TV. I watched it a year after it was launched 😆 This show was so nice. Like reallyyy nice! Very less melodrama. All the scenes between the leads will leave you either in splits or a warm feeling in your belly. 😆 The romance was realistic and very very slow, just the ay I like it. I don't really remember why I left watching it. Would love to go back to it if I had the time.
