Would you like Slasher genre movies in Bollywood?

Why is there no slasher genre movies in Bollywood? It falls within horror and thriller but has its own cult following including me. There should be some movies like Texas chainsaw, cabin in the woods, or vacation gone wrong type of movies.

Would you be open to such plots?

Sure why not, as long it is well created and has a good story to back it up.

There have been plenty of horror movies back in the 2000s, early 90s and 80s, dunno which of them classify into slasher. NH10 does fall slightly into slasher category, doesn't it?

For a second I read SLASH genre movies & I was all like HELLS YEASSS!!! 🥳 and started thinking about ARK-Akshay, Kat-PC, Sunny-PC etc & then read the 'er'. Ah well, some day it'll happen, Boss. Some day it'll happen. And then I can die very, very happy. Ahemmm. ❤️

OT- If it's low on the horror content & plays more on human psychology, then yes. That's always
More interesting than straight-up 'horror' movies anyway.

Boss, do you work? How come you're here ALL the damn time? Do you work in a call-centre or such fields?

Bollywood did attempt at this genre but miserably failed. All they did was copy the Hollywood movie adding Bollywood twists to them. Scream, I know what you did last summer were remade both of them got terrible reviews if I remember.

Scream is one of my fav movie in this genre. Valentine, I know what you did last summer are good too entertaining

Watch all the movies from Scream franchise and also I know what you did last summer. And then watch Valentine too

There is many but it is usually gory. Slasher movies is usually about a vacation gone wrong, messing with the wrong family, getting tortured by hillbillies etc. How about the Duel? It's a good movie. Has less gore.

Ofcourse. Story is the main key. It should be less bravado. I don't want the action hero to kill all of them. Some good people need to die too. It should be realistic.

Also i would recommend The Descent 1 and 2 (more of a horror film than slasher but characters get killed one by one) and also the Wrong Turn franchise
