It hurts me a lot..But I don't care about it now..They always try to degrade me..Because they want to see my brother in a superior position than me..He is in best position..But I m not in the worst..I also have a good career.

It has got nothing to do with education & everything to do with the upbringing...

My dadi was like that...so all her children are like that...coz dada never had the time to raise the children...& the sad part is my dad is the only son...& other two are my aunts...so he got all the privileges...my dadi would cook his fav foods...she would give more of everything to him...so all the children are conditioned like that...

My mom comes from a liberal family...so she was always at a war sort of thing with her in laws...for she demanded respect...& there was no such thing as respect for a female in UP at that time...i doubt if it is there even now...🤔

& it does not happen much in metros coz now there are laws in operation...otherwise...this would have never stopped even in Delhi...

But they are not that bad like you told they asked for your permission when your proposal came...they could have got you married against your will.
