OMG ImagineMe! Iam so beyond happy for my fave YAYYY! Congrats to the Pink, Dangal girls too

Now i want to see the movie & read all about Surabhi Lakshmi, the actress who stole the main Best Actress Award from us Sonam fans😉 I bet it is amazing. It has to be lol😆

Iam surprised about Akki winning for Airlift & Rustom though! I didnt see that coming at all. I guess that Aligarh was too hot even for the Jury. Congrats to Akki nonetheless, he did get crazy acclaim for both roles.

YAY for Neerja winning Best Hindi Movie too. Too bad Ram Madhvani as snubbed for his incredible work!

I hav a lot of movies to see now thanks to the list. I cnt wait for the ceremony

From what I gather, Surabhi and Aishwarya were the only two actresses competing in this category.

Sonam getting the Special Mention might be because someone on the jury thought about her performance. Likewise, I don't think YRF submitted Parineeti's name for Ishaaqzade.

OOOh that is insane if true! I cannot believe that this is how it works? I always thought that the Jury considers all movies on their own, no submissions required. IF true, that would explain a lot.

As for Sonam, seems like her team got burned by the controversies surrounding awards last year. Sonam herself did say that Neerja was beyond awards for her, so in that sense it would make sense that they wouldnt submit her name? & if true, it confirms the meaning behind the Special Mention. Unforgettable performances indeed.🥳

Congratulations! Sonam fans deserve this milestone. So thrilled for sonam and her supporters. NEERJA was a wonderful biopic and deserved the film honor... btw Ram will receive the award too. Both the producer and director receive the silver lotus with cash prize for best film.

Your fave Adil got a special mention too. ⭐️

Akki is a good actor but been rewarded in the wrong year, it's a bizarre choice given so many worthy contenders existed. Nevertheless, I'm happy for his success. He's a wonderful guy.

Oh well... otherwise regionals ruled this year.
