So who knows what he was referring to but if it was indeed that taking Shahrukh in Devdas was a mistake then that's one statement that makes zero sense considering the BO collection of that movie, the number of awards it got, not to mention him stating he wanted Shahrukh in that role if I'm not wrong. Anywho...kudos to Shahrukh for being so gracious, not only during the clash but in general too.

Shah Rukh Khan is the biggest Bollywood superstar especially in Dubai. King Khan received a heartwarming welcome when he stepped inside the TOIFA venue recently. So, we're sure SRK knew very well that his fans who had gathered to watch the awards ceremony were expecting an awesome act by Khan. However a source revealed, "SRK had severe knee issues and was in fact planning a short act and was to perform to just two tracks. In the nth minute Shah Rukh decided to treat his fans with an elaborate performance."

Another source told BollywoodLife, "Ranveer Singh was paying an ode to Amitabh Bachchan, which was a compilation of his hit tracks over the years. Salman Khans act was also very special because the actor performed to hit songs of his own and his contemporaries including Shah Rukh. Suddenly SRK informed the team that he will be doing an extended performance and not just dance to two tracks of his." The source further elaborated, "The fact is that Shah Rukh Khan has a huge fan following and Dubai is one place that the star is loved a lot. Every show of SRK in Dubai has been a super hit. With his colleagues having more time on stage, SRK's fans would be very very disappointed had he not changed his decision."

A source close to the show added, "This is not the first time Shah Rukh has played to his fans wish. Every time he has been in Dubai the actor has entertained his fans and more often than not he ends up extending his planned performance. So the TOIFA performance was no surprise. "

Whether it was due to his peers or then fans expectations, the fact remains that Shah Rukh Khan went ahead and did a longish act despite his injuries and that just proves that the Raees actor does not take his fans for granted.

SLB's working style is definitely not the easiest. I think it's something that has been said on record by actors who have worked with him. I also think until and unless SLB has a project that Shahrukh wants to do, he won't work with him just for the heck of it. They seem to get along fine and Shahrukh did act in Devdas so knows SLB's style but who knows if they would work together in the future or not. There have been rumors every now and then but I don't think any of it is true.
